SAVAGE: IF PRESIDENT, HILLARY 'VULNERABLE TO BLACKMAIL'
Exclusive: Kathy Shaidle recaps hottest discussions on the air
Savage said that having an “anchor baby” law embedded in the Constitution made America “the dumbest country on earth,” but challenged those who insist that that rule can never be amended: “Canada had a similar law. Pregnant women were coming from China and Mexico, having babies in the airport, and pulling the whole family in. Now guess who eliminated this law? A Chinese-Canadian who finally said the country couldn’t survive if we permit China to keep doing this. Eliminating this law in the United States is long overdue (Free audio).”
Savage warned that if Hillary Clinton was elected president, she would be “vulnerable to blackmail” thanks to data on her email server.
“We know [America's enemies] been hacking our government computers,” said Savage, “so of course they wanted to read the emails to and from the Secretary of State. China and Russia are probably praying that she becomes president, because then they’ll own her (Free audio).”
Rush Limbaugh
With Tuesday’s revelation that Hillary Clinton’s private email account was run from servers in a bathroom closet, Rush Limbaugh indulged in a round of “toilet humor.”
Limbaugh recounted that the former first lady “had Secret Service agents guarding a bathroom. She told us that Secret Service agents were guarding her server 24/7. You can smell the stench of this a mile away, folks.”
“Hillary’s dump of emails is so big, we need a plunger,” he joked. “Those who said Hillary didn’t give a crap about national security were dead wrong (Free audio).”
As Donald Trump closes in on Hillary in some polls, Limbaugh was inspired to compare the two very different presidential candidates: “If Trump and Hillary become the nominees of their respective parties, it’s gonna be a fascinating A-B, side-by-side comparison. For example, Trump became wealthy buying and selling real estate. Hillary became wealthy selling access. Trump is blunt; Hillary is evasive. Trump has been highly successful; Hillary has been highly unsuccessful. Trump is funny; Hillary is grim. Trump has charisma; Hillary has pantsuits and Mao-inspired dress codes. Trump is his own advisor; Hillary has hundreds of them. Trump marries beautiful women; Hillary married a man who sleeps with beautiful women (Free audio).”
Aaron Klein
Klein’s guests including two new YouTube stars: A pair of African-American women who were lifelong Democratic voters, but who have switched allegiance to Donald Trump. They are definitely not fans of Hillary Clinton.
“Let’s call it like we see it. She’s not gonna make a good president. Even though she’s a woman, she’s not gonna be the best president for our country,” stated Lynnette Hardaway in a joint radio interview with her YouTube co-star, Rochelle Richardson. They agree that Hillary is “tainted” and her presidency would “ruin” America.
Klein was also joined by Col. Michael Bumgarner, who served as the commander of the Joint Detention Group – the guard force at Guantanamo Bay – from April 2005 through June 2006. He revealed that Saudi citizen and U.K. permanent resident Shaker Aamer – who has been held at the facility for more than 13 years – once romanced a female guard who became so infatuated with the terror suspect that she had to be relieved of her duties.
Listen to Aaron Klein’s show every week on radio (AM 970 The Answer in NY; NewsTalk 990 AM in Philly) or online.
Mark Levin
Trump has started a national debate about the 14th Amendment, and Constitutional scholar Mark Levin explained at length that, contrary to popular belief, the law doesn’t support so-called “birthright citizenship.”
“Of course Trump is right, and Cruz is right, and Sessions is right, they’re all right,” he said. “And to hear so-called constitutional conservatives trip all over themselves to sound like liberals, to rewrite this provision, and accuse those of us who actually know something about it, know the history about it, know the senators who were involved in it, know what went into it, know what was meant by it, that we’re the activists, that we’re the extremists (Free audio).”
However, Levin had harsh words for Trump supporter Ann Coulter after she sent out a sarcastic tweet: “I don’t care if @realDonaldTrump wants to perform abortions in White House after this immigration policy paper.”
Levin didn’t see the humor in her comment, tweeting in response: “These have to be among the most pathetic comments by anyone in a long time.”
Laura Ingraham
Ingraham’s guests this week included pundit and publisher Tucker Carlson (“It’s not so much about Trump it’s more about the people that run everything and it portrays how leadership has failed us”); Rick Santorum (“I would say Trump and I are very similar on the immigration and trade issue, certainly more similar than Jeb Bush”); along with Byron York and Newt Gingrich (Free audio).
On Twitter, Ingraham wondered if violent crime would be the “sleeper issue of 2016″ and said the “GOP needs a law-and-order candidate.”
Glenn Beck
Why are so many conservatives supporting Donald Trump despite his well-known liberal views on so many issues? Glenn Beck thinks he knows the answer: “Here’s what’s happened to us: we’re splitting off into our own little groups of what our priorities are. That doesn’t make any of us wrong. But people will listen to me and … say, ‘I’m done with the God stuff.’ OK, I understand. But that’s what I believe the answer is. I believe that’s the root of all of our problems.”
However, he noted, others believe that fighting illegal immigration and political correctness are more important issues. Like Mark Levin, Beck was shaken by Ann Coulter’s sarcastic abortion tweet.
“The key to understanding this is Ann Coulter,” Beck continued. “I’ve seen some of her statements and I’m like, ‘What the hell – Ann, what are you talking about?’ (Free audio)”
Also this week, Beck told listeners that the devaluation of China’s currency should “send a chill down your spine.”
“They’ve launched all-out economic warfare,” Beck’s chief researcher Jason Buttrill said. “China devalued their currency, kicking off the biggest fall in over two decades. Why would a country do that to themselves? Sounds like a mistake, right? But China makes most of their money off exports, so they need a lower currency value in order to keep pumping out those cheap, plastic, ‘Made in China’ toys our kids have.”
Buttrill speculated that “China is trying to destroy the dollar. They want to be the world reserve currency, and if severe deflation kicks off a depression in the western world, the opportunity will be there for this to actually happen. … We’re seeing the beginnings of a dangerous, non-conventional war (Free audio).”
