It’s Not Martial Law Preparedness – It’s A Civil Unrest Mobilization Drill, Urban Warfare – Really, Is There A Difference?
Rick Wells - March 31, 2015 - UFP News
On March 17th a four-day, 200 man Special Operations Forces drill was conducted in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, involving members of the Army, Air Force, Marines and Navy. It’s was packaged and sold to the American people as urban warfare training.
The question that keeps being asked and rightly so is, “Who exactly is the enemy that they are training to face?” While the rank and file of the military are firmly in support of their fellow citizens, we’ve seen enough purges within their ranks to be concerned with the leadership.
There is also little question that those currently in control of our federal government do not share the values and beliefs upon which this nation was founded.
With the incessant erosion of our national protections by leftists intent on invalidating our Bill of Rights and subjugating the United States to the United Nations, displays such as this are very disconcerting. They are happening with much greater frequency, all across the nation, but particularly in the southwest. That region will also be the site of the upcoming, huge, nine-state “Jade Helm” operation this summer.
What is probably the most troubling portion of the video is the image of a line of people being rounded up and marched in file to what is most likely some sort of mock detention facility. Why would this type of thing be being practiced on American soil?
Is it intended to desensitize the American people to this type of occurrence on the streets of our own hometowns? Could it be conditioning for our military, who would naturally be repulsed at the thought of taking offensive action targeting innocent American citizens?
Are these shadowy images even American troops? Is a portion of this exercise being conducted with foreign troops? Given the secretive nature of these operations, how would we know?
Perhaps it is in preparation for civil unrest that is only beginning to be orchestrated by the Obama regime in the form of racial hate-mongering and the seeds of massive illegal immigration and the resulting unemployment.
They know that most Americans are content to watch the television and believe what they are being told, if they even bother to ask. They are as convinced as the Russians of 1916 or the Germans of the 1930s that the government, regardless of it’s configuration, is our friend.
The fact that the legitimacy of Barack Obama has gone unchallenged for six years is a testament to just how far beyond accountable this government and the press really are.
Congress does nothing remotely close to representing the wishes of the people and it beyond coincidental that the “right” person to be president somehow always belongs to the elite’s exclusive club and fills his cabinet with their fellow CFR members once elected.
In spite of the changing figureheads, our government never deviates from the path of eroded liberty and freedom.
For these and a multitude of other reasons we all see and in some ways may have become oblivious to on a daily basis, drills like this should have us all concerned. When we reach the point that the next step towards totalitarianism is orchestrated, drills such as this may well provide the foundation for those actions.
Thomas Jefferson is quoted as having said, “Whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government.” The American people of today are very poorly informed, both by their government in its actions as well as in the proper role of our government, it’s proper restraint, and in our history.
Not only can the majority not be trusted to properly supervise their activities, we are being lied to on a continual basis at the top levels, from the White House down, and nothing is done about it.
We have confused apathy with trust and will pay a hefty price for our slothful indifference.
