ALERT: Rush Limbaugh Drops BOMBSHELL About Obama 3rd Term
Is it insanity to think that President Barack Obama might run for a third term? Rush Limbaugh doesn’t think so, and on Friday, the legendary radio host laid out a situation where the 44th president might extend his stay on Pennsylvania Avenue.
In response to a caller’s question as to whether a third term was inconceivable, Limbaugh reminded the audience that very little was under the unconstitutional Obama administration.
“Let’s put this in a scenario, because some of you might be thinking, ‘All right, Rush, you’re going too far now. All you guys thinking Obama’s doing this and doing that, he’s violating the Constitution. He would never do that!'” Limbaugh said.
“Well, let’s construct a scenario and see if it has even the slightest bit of believability.”
He then put forward how he thought it might happen.
“Let’s say that Mrs. Clinton has withstood all of this e-mail stuff, that Elizabeth Warren has not gotten in the race, that Algore took the temperature and decided not to go, that it’s just Mrs. Clinton and Joe Biden,” Limbaugh told the audience.
“On the other side, the Republican field has a great list of possible candidates … and the country may be looking forward to a dramatic change to Republican in the election of 2016.
“Obama, fully aware of this, would go on television and say that the Democrat field is so weak that he’s not confident that Mrs. Clinton can win … And then call a national speech to the nation in which the main point is that it’s beginning to look like the Republicans will win the White House, and this is something that he can’t risk. Not after eight courageous years of transforming America!” Limbaugh explained.
Sadly, that does actually sound like something that Obama might be willing to do. Limbaugh then asked the important question.
“What would anybody do?” he queried his audience. “What would Mitch McConnell do? What would John Boehner do?”
Limbaugh’s point — which is a good one — is that the Republican establishment seems perfectly willing to work with the Democratic Party over the objections of its own base, especially on issues like amnesty and the debt ceiling.
Given how impotent it’s seemed on every issue that matters to conservatives, they may hesitate to challenge the president all that hard.
And keep in mind, President Obama has already let the American people know that he isn’t terribly interested in upholding the Constitution. Just look again at amnesty, or his recent unilateral ban of M855 ammunition.
Given all that this president has done to disrespect the Constitution, why should we assume he has any more respect for the 22nd Amendment than he does for any of the others?
My comments: Would Obama use any PRETEXT to remain in office? YES, he would. And who would STOP him? It is not clear that any American Institution is able or willing to STOP him as he TRAMPLES on the US Constitution.
