BREAKING: Democrats Launch THIS Gun Control Legislation… Where’s The Media?
Democrats are continuing their attempt to criminalize gun ownership by reintroducing legislation that would create a “universal” background check requirement to make the transfer of firearms between friends and even one’s own family an illegal act.
California Democrat Rep. Mike Thompson and a host of other anti-gun lawmakers have introduced H.R. 1217 — legislation that echoes the attempts of Obama’s failed attempt to pass a universal background check during the last Congress.
Gun owners in states like Washington, who suffered a blow in the last midterm election when a universal background check requirement was enacted, have already lost their right to sell or transfer firearms between their circle of friends, at gun shows, shooting ranges and family members.
The big question is: Where in the world is the media on this one? This is a huge piece of legislation that would absolutely devastate the rights of gun owners and add strain to federal resources that the government doesn’t even have.
Numerous supporters of the bill in Congress point to stories of “grieving mothers” and other tragic incidences of lives being taken by firearms, but what they’ll never admit is that these crimes are rarely committed by otherwise law-abiding citizens.
Rather, they’re committed by criminals and those with mental health issues. If guns didn’t exist, these same people would use knives, clubs or whatever weapons were available.
A vast majority of anti-gunners, including those we elect to Congress, have very limited firearms experience. Their knowledge comes from what they see in movies and television — and they use the violence they see in the movies to influence and eventually shred our Second Amendment rights.
The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action reported that the NRA opposes the legislation because it fails to tackle the real problem — the failed state of the mental health and criminal justice systems.
Do any of these people who try so hard to buck the Constitution actually believe that a criminal intent on mass murder, is going to consider submitting himself to a background check for even a fleeting second?
It’s difficult to imagine that we have so many people ignorant of the Consitution and devoid of common-sense in this country, but sadly, that seems to be the case.

My comments: The Democrats are Ruthless and Relentless and will NEVER give up until the Second Amendment is done away with one way or another.
