The editors of Charlie Hebdo met their fate at the hands of Islamist gunmen. Had this been Pakistan rather than Paris, the executioner would have been a court of law rather than an AK-47.

What the world calls terrorism when it occurs in France is accepted as rule of law when it occurs in Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Egypt, Turkey, Sudan, Mauritania and Indonesia.

They all have statutes on the books that forbid defaming Islam. Punishment can include death.

The race to the bottom began with lowering the wages of working Americans to match those in socialist Third World hell holes.

Now we are to lower our values as well.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the founder of the Cordoba Initiative, speaking to NBC News after the Paris attack, explained what the global economy means for the First Amendment. “Now as we have a globalized society, I think we need to revisit the idea of freedom of speech versus the notion of what are the limits to make sure we have a harmonious global society,” he said.

Politicians now wouldn’t dare stand in the way of the harmonious functioning of international commerce.

Global economy uber alles is the anthem of the Washington elites, both Democrat and Republican.

How far we have come from the time when patriots dumped the tea of the British East India Company, the global multinational corporation of its day, into Boston Harbor.

European elites try to sell a borderless multicultural superstate from the Baltic to the Irish Sea. But citizens want to keep their distinct nations and cultures.

Washington seeks to erase our national borders through uncontrolled immigration and deals like the TransPacific Partnership Agreement.

They insist we live in a global economy.

Thanks, say Americans clinging to their God and their guns, but I’d rather live in the United States of America.

My comments: U.S. Politicians are ABANDONING their sworn duty to uphold the U.S. Constitution as they COWER under the threat of ISLAM'S SHARIAH LAW TERRORISM. Scripture poises for us this question: "What do Righteousness and Wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can Light have with Darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? (2 Corinthians 6:14-15) Has America become so godless that it cannot answer that question?
