Father of Fallen Marine Returns Obama’s Condolence Letter With THIS Written on It
Monday, January 5th, 2015
The families of our men and women in uniform go through myriad traumas. The most horrible they can experience is the loss of their loved one in combat.
This loss is doubly compounded when they despair over the leadership in Washington, which may have led their son or daughter to their unfortunate fate.
teve Hogan, the father of a fallen marine, felt this anguish firsthand.
The father of Hunter D. Hogan, a marine killed in Afghanistan, sent back the president’s condolence letter with some choice words of his own, scrawling “I wonder how many of these get returned to you!” across the top.
“I wonder how many of these get returned to you!
“Mr. Barrack Hussein Obama,
“I am deeply saddened that you are the President of the United States. You sir are an embarrassment to the Oval Office.
“My son, as well as most Marines I know, despise you and your lack of representation for our military. Your ridiculous rules of engagement have caused the massive amount of casualties on your watch in Afghanistan, while we watch your media pander to your administration and clearly sweep things under the rug for you.
“I fully understand Marines die. You have tied their hands & feet!
“I am thankful I did not serve under a Comm. in Chief such as you. I am sickened that my son had to. I wonder [illegible] I doubt that you will see this, I hope you do though!
“Steve Hogan”
Brutal truth spoken by someone who should know – the father of one of our country’s fallen heroes.
While Obama has yet to address or confirm that he’s seen the letter, let’s hope that the president has. It’s the least he can do for the Hogan family.
