THE WORLD'S WISDOM IS FOOLISHNESS

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Gospel--

Not with words of human wisdom,

Lest the Cross of Christ be EMPTIED OF ITS POWER.

For the MESSAGE OF THE CROSS

Is Foolishness to those who are PERISHING,

But to us who are BEING SAVED

It is the POWER OF GOD.

For it is written:

I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE;

The intelligence of the intelligent I will FRUSTRATE.

Where is the wise man?

Where is the scholar?

Has God not made FOOLISH the wisdom of the World?

For since in the wisdom of God

The World through its wisdom did not know Him,

God was pleased through the Foolishness of what was preached

To SAVE those who believe.

Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom,

But we preach Christ Crucified:

A stumbling block to Jews and Foolishness to Gentiles,

BUT TO THOSE WHOM GOD HAS CALLED,

Both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the POWER OF GOD

And the WISDOM OF GOD.

For the Foolishness of God is WISER than man's wisdom,

And the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.

(1 Corinthians 1:20-25)

MAN, apart from God and His Word,

KNOWS NOTHING OF ETERNAL VALUE

Since this life was given by God for one purpose and one purpose only:

TO COME TO KNOW HIM, which is Eternal LIFE.

That is the one and only purpose of this life.

Man can come to know facts and information

But in the END it is of NO VALUE to him.

Since the only thing of value in the END is where he will spend Eternity.

What is your life?

You are a MIST that appears for a little while and then VANISHES.

(James 4:14:)

God makes foolish the wisdom of the World

Because the World misses the entire reason for this life--

That is to be SAVED—to enjoy Eternity with God in His Heaven

As opposed to spending Eternity in Hell.

Satan leads mankind into his own rebellion against God--

A REBELLION in FUTILITY.

The “god” of this Age has blinded the minds of unbelievers,

So that they cannot see the LIGHT of the Gospel of the Glory of Christ,

Who is the Image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Man exults in what they call “CIVILIZATION”

But as Edgar Rice Boroughs said: “Civilization is a thin VENEER.”

It is a “thin” veneer, the reality of which, gets torn away with each WAR.

Man's concept of “Civilization” is a PRETENSE that never arrives.

Man apart form God can NEVER be “CIVILIZED,”

Because there is NOTHING GOOD within man apart from God.

That is what the Word of God teaches us,

For those who will listen—FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR.

IN THE END, all man's Science, Technology, Philosophy, Psychology,

Literature, False Religion, etc., WILL COME TO NOTHING!

God makes it all FOOLISHNESS compared to KNOWING CHRIST--

OF NO ETERNAL VALUE.

Today, the world is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in its present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

As God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
