BREAKING: Race Rioters Target Fox News Headquarters… Here’s What They’re Planning
Friday, December 26th, 2014
Spurred on and enabled by New York’s crypto-socialist mayor, Bill de Blasio, race rioters and violent protesters have run roughshod over the streets of the city. Even though the mayor has called for a moratorium after the deaths of two New York police officers, Gotham’s dividers continue to press on.
Whether it’s engaging in “die-ins” or shutting down highways at rush hour, NYC’s left apparently believes inconveniencing people trying to shop or get home to their family is the way to effect change. Now, the left is targeting Fox News headquarters as well as The New York Post, and you won’t believe why.
An “invitation” to the protest against the news organizations spells out several things. Firstly, black tie is optional. Secondly, it’s about every perceived injustice ever perpetrated upon man since biblical times.
“As many already know The NY POST is a newspaper that is owned and controlled by the Right Winger Rupert Murdoch, who in essence is a corporate racist that continually supports and disseminates racist, classist, sexist and all forms of pro 1% misinformation through his NY POST newspaper as well as FOX television,” reads the grammatically problematic invitation, according to WND .
“This Die-In Shutdown and Boycott is but the first part of a larger upcoming campaign for justice … to expose the racist lies and bias of mass media starting with but NOT limited to the NY POST!”
While I’m usually for monetarily supporting the left, I’m all for buying whoever wrote that a copy of “Strunk & White.”
A die-in, for those of you not in the know, is a form of protest where demonstrators lie on the ground and pretend to be dead, in order to inconvenience people who need to step over them. It’s a bit less sit-in and a bit more “Laugh-In,” unless you have to deal with them.
All of these claims protesters seek redress for — racism, classism, sexism and “all forms of pro 1% misinformation” — are made in a prima facie manner, with no actual evidence to back them up because, you know, liberalism.
While allegedly a grassroots uprising, the protests are actually an example of “astroturfing” — that phenomenon liberals are always quick to denounce whenever a conservative with some money decides to use it to further causes they believe in — by far-left organizations.
ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism, a group that apparently doesn’t know how this whole acronym thing works) and the once-ubiquitous Occupy Wall Street (an astroturfed “movement” itself) are the major movers behind it, although at least 10 pro-Palestinian groups are also involved, WND reported.
ANSWER is best known for being very visibly against every war America has been in since 9/11, as well as America itself and Israel for good measure.
The group has expressed continual support for the Palestinian intifada, even going so far as to organize a 2002 rally in Washington to endorse the terrorists.
As for Occupy Wall Street, it released a statement concerning the protest, saying that, “The people will not be intimidated. We will not accept poverty wages, racist courts and a corrupt political system.”
Which is very nice and all, and I’m sure that sort of rhetoric will get you an internship at “Democracy Now,” but what does that have to do with Fox News and The New York Post?
While the protests against The Post and Fox are just the latest in the ridiculous charade of race baiting that’s going on in Gotham right now, they prove the unfocused, preposterous nature of these leftist demonstrations.
The fact that the protesters are trying to shut down free speech by shutting down Fox News and The New York Post shows the hypocritical nature of their cause.
Let’s hope New Yorkers wake up and start standing up for sanity.
