The prophetic trumpets ring out next week…
Are you ready for what comes next?
From Dr. Mike Evans:
Next week, the ancient shofars will sound out, announcing Rosh Hashanah—the Feast of Trumpets that starts the Jewish New Year. This is a prophetic moment in history. Of course, it is important on God's calendar because this is the doorway to Yom Kippur and Sukkot. This year these prophetic feast days hold special meaning because of the events that are unfolding around them.
The evil terrorists who hate the Jewish people had planned to launch a massive assault on Rosh Hashanah, using the terror tunnels they had built under the Israeli border to conduct sneak attacks and raids, killing and kidnapping as many people as they could. God revealed the plot in time for it to be stopped, but there is no guarantee that there will not be further attacks.
Today, God is calling you and me to stand together in defense of His Chosen People. The words God spoke to Isaiah ring in my ears today: “Comfort ye, comfort ye My people saith your God.”
The Jerusalem Prayer Team has made the commitment to stand with the Jewish people. We keep this commitment every day—whether the rockets are falling and the news is there, or whether there is quiet and the situation is being ignored. But we can't do it without you...and we really need your help right now.
