OBAMA'S 'GREEN' AGENDA 'ABOUT CENTRALIZATION OF POWER'

'It's rarely about keeping the water clean and the air free of pollution'

WASHINGTON – Back in 2009, Barack Obama candidly told American consumers he was not on their side, acknowledging that “under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

So, no one really was shocked by his recent proposal for carbon emissions limits that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce estimates will annually kill $50 billion a year in Gross Domestic Product, destroy 220,000 jobs and cut Americans’ disposable income by more than $550 billion, Forbes reported.

And it’s mostly, according to at least two authors who have studied the subject, just a plan to give Obama more power and control.

“Green is the new red – as in Marxism,” said Brian Sussman, whose book “Eco Tyranny: How the Left’s Green Agenda Will Dismantle America” contends that “exorbitant energy prices, rolling blackouts, acute food shortages, critical water deficiencies” all are part of the plan.

Sussman is San Francisco’s most celebrated television science reporter and meteorologist.

“This agenda is not about clean air and water; it’s about the centralization of power, destroying capitalism and promoting the notion of equality which eliminates liberty,” he said.

The Environmental Protection Agency plan claims that by 2030 it will cut America’s carbon dioxide emissions 30 percent from 2005 levels, mostly by putting such tight limits on coal plants that many are likely to close down.

States are being allowed until June 30, 2016, to set up regulations that cut their “average emissions per megawatt of electricity.”

Along with the new cap-and-trade schemes comes deployment of more solar panels and wind turbines and subsidies for weatherization, Forbes said.

The report said it’s clear to analysts that coal will be the loser in the anti-carbon crusade while natural gas will be the big winner.

But Sussman emphasizes that the control, rules, regulations and requirements are the goal.

“As a classic Marxist, Obama believes natural resources belong to the state and cannot be owned by individuals or groups of individuals. While state-owned companies theoretically return profits to the people, privately owned oil companies’ return their profits to their owners and shareholders which is a loathsome concept to the redistributionist.”

Analysts say the impact will be the end of small businesses and violations of the rights of ordinary Americans.

Cheryl Chumley, author of the newly released “Police State USA: How Orwell’s Nightmare is Becoming our Reality,” said taxpayers will certainly bear the burden.

“Who do you think will pay for the power plants to enact the upgrades that are needed to comply (with new regulations)?” said Chumley. “The private citizen.”

She explains in her book that the EPA’s plans routinely are “burdensome, costly federal overreaches.”

Sussman said it’s Obama’s “way of leveling the playing field between our nation and others.”

“The sheiks of OPEC would soil their tunics if we ever got serious about tapping the huge oil reserves beneath our federal lands and seas,” he said.

Chumley said there is much work to do if Americans want to avoid Obama’s coming attack on energy.

“Americans need to be educated about the current state of environmentalism in our nation. It’s rarely, if ever, about keeping the water clean and the air free of pollution any more. It’s much much more about control and power,” she said.

The carbon emissions issue is based on the premise that man-caused emissions are destroying the world.

Chumley debunks the theory in her “Police State USA.”

She chastised the authors of a report in the journal “Science” that linked fluctuations of temperatures to acts of violence. The report, she said, “claimed that even the smallest fluctuations in temperature or rainfall levels brought on an increase in crime, worldwide.”

“That just seems a tad too much to believe,” she said. “Citing hot weather as a contributing factor for lost tempers during traffic jams is one thing, but blaming the political-charged subject of global warming for causing worldwide violence and ethnic wars is most definitely another.”

She contends environmentalism is “not so much about common-sense measures – recycling, say, or keeping chemical companies from dumping toxic waste into waterways – but about control.”

“The entire environmentalism mantra has been turned into a social justice debate,” she said. “It’s all about ensuring each and every human being is afforded the same playing field as his or her neighbor.”

The reality, according to tens of thousands of scientists, is that global warming isn’t a major concern.

Scientist Art Robinson spearheaded The Petition Project, which to date has gathered the signatures of 31,487 scientists who agree that there is “no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”

In Sussman’s “Eco-Tyranny,” he explains: “We are continually lectured – by politicians, government bureaucrats, professors, environmental groups, and movie stars – that the world’s foremost enemy is pollution, particularly greenhouse gas emissions. Out greatest challenge, they insist, is curtailing such discharges into the atmosphere and restoring the global environment; if we don’t, they claim, the earth’s ecological system will die.”

Sussman concludes: “It’s all a lie.”

He contends there is “no such planetary crisis.”

“It’s a concocted calamity churned out initially by Marx himself, and furthered by his modern devotees,” he writes.

My comments: Who is it that wants Absolute Control? Satan. Only then can he present his son to the world as their "savior." He has control today but it is hidden. Today, Satan controls every nation on earth [1 John 5:19]. Control is not enough for Satan, he wants worship and his "mark" on every human being, which he knows damns them to an Eternal Hell, which is his destination; Obama and the other world leaders are simply Satan's puppets. The "Green" Agenda is a method to obtain Absolute Control over all mankind.
