WHAT IS NOT PREACHED

 

Perhaps, the Most Conspicuous

Of those things Not Preached,

Is the Fact that the Evil One

Controls the Whole World.

The Apostle John tells us this:

“We know that we are Children of God,

And that the Whole World

Is Under the Control of the Evil One.”

(1 John 5:19, NIV)

This Reality should Temper

Our Relationship with God our Father

And All of our Thinking and Doing.

This World is Not our Friend.

It is Ruled by our Enemy.

We Get Along in this World

By the Grace of God,

And the Fact

That the One Who Lives In Us

Is Greater than the one in the World.

We have been Born Again,

Born of the Spirit of God,

And as such,

We are Not Subject

To the one who Controls the World.

We are Subjects of the Kingdom of God,

And we Thrive in this Wicked World,

As long as we Obey God and His Word;

By the Power of His Spirit,

We are Under His Protection.

We can Expect Nothing from this World

But Chaos, Conflict and Confusion.

The one who Controls this World

Came to Steal, Kill and Destroy,

And he is busy about his work.

Simultaneously,

God Almighty is Saving

Out of this World,

All who are Willing.

This is the Paradox

Of life in this World.
