The Incredible Gift Of Motherhood.

 

Friend,    Today we celebrate the incredible gift of motherhood.   Mothers play an irreplaceably unique role in our lives. After all, we are all here because we have a mother.    The role of motherhood is not only biological. Today, we honor and celebrate all the mother figures in our lives — grandmothers, female mentors, spiritual mothers, and all women who provide a loving, life-giving presence.   We honor the heroic selflessness they embody to encourage us throughout our lives.   I’ve dedicated my life’s work to exposing the harm abortion inflicts not only on preborn children but especially on women as well.   I find it important to remember that many abortion activists genuinely believe they are helping women. We have this desire in common. What pro-abortion people and organizations do not recognize is that women never need to kill their children to succeed… they need loving support, community, and tangible resources.    Today, on Mother’s Day, let’s recognize the total gift of self that mothers display for their children and look for ways we can provide them with the support they need. A word of encouragement, a meal, a phone call… all of these little acts of love towards mothers can change our culture, one person at a time.    Together, we are building a world where children are protected from the violence of abortion and where women will always have the love and support needed to bring new life into the world, no matter the circumstances and struggles they encounter.   Today and every day, let’s ensure every mother - physical or spiritual - knows how much she is appreciated and loved!   Happy Mother's Day, Lila Rose Founder and President
