Friend,
In 2016, Kellie King visited a therapist who convinced her that she "had been presenting like a man [her] whole life."
"I felt ... mortified," Kellie writes, "Shame I hadn't felt since I was a kid. Could everyone see this?
Why hadn't anyone told me?"
Kellie's therapist, it turns out, was himself a "trans" — a cross-dressing man who "presented" as a woman.
Sucked in by the soothing words of her therapist, Kellie was swept away by the Caitlyn Jenner hype and social media "unicorns and glitter bombs" that made "transitioning" seem like a place of glorious acceptance.
Kellie decided to become the "man" her therapist told her she had always been.
"Like so many others, I was celebrating Caitlyn Jenner living her [sic] authentic truth," Kellie wrote.
"Look at the love bombs coming the way of transgenders! Look at how amazing it was!"
Until it wasn't.
Kellie believed her therapist and doctors had her best interests in mind.
But Kellie "wasn't familiar with the medical industry's long history of corruption and scandals from thalidomide to lobotomies to the oxycontin scandal," she says of that time.
Nor was she aware of the "guardrails-off marketing that would have made my granddad’s jaw drop."
Instead, she trusted the doctors with her care.
Kellie changed her name to Scott Newgent and underwent cross-sex hormone treatment and "sex change" surgery.
No one ever told Kellie the surgery she would undergo was considered "experimental" or that the surgeon who would soon cut up her body had been banned from performing ANY surgeries in California due to at least nine malpractice lawsuits against him.
Instead, that doctor came to Texas, where tort reform lawsuits made it nearly impossible for the patients he injured to sue him.
Nor did Kellie's cross-dressing therapist or her surgeon tell Kellie about her doctor's dangerous history, or of the many well-documented "transition" side effects, including (but not limited to):
1 in 5 women need "corrective" surgery to fix problems with the original surgery.
Up to 25% suffer incontinence.
4 to 5 times higher incidence of heart attacks than women in the same age group.
Statistically higher likelihood of erythrocytosis, a dangerous condition that impacts red blood cells and slows blood flow.
40% higher suicide rates.
Or the more than 6,800 genetic differences between men and women that would not change because of hormones or surgeries.
And no one told Kellie that phalloplasty surgery that was supposed to turn her into a man was almost guaranteed to cause serious and potentially life-threatening infection.
Don't let the "trans" lobby hide these statistics! Support our legal work today.
Kellie’s next several years would be spent in a battle for her life, fighting the severe complications and life-threatening infections that arose after the phalloplasty surgery that was supposed to turn her into a man.
After yet another surgery to try to stop the infections that wracked her body, Kellie had an epiphany.
"You see, I was not just fighting for my physical well-being in my search for a solution, it turns out I was fighting for my soul."
"It was only as I started to recover from the repair surgery that I became aware of all the losses I had suffered and the hardships I had endured [as a result of transitioning]," Kellie says.
"Everything I had built in my life: gone.
It was a devastating day, where I realized I had to start my life afresh."
Unfortunately, years of cross-sex hormones and surgeries had taken a toll on Kellie.
She now looked more like a man than a woman.
The effects of Kellie's "transition" were largely irreversible.
Unwilling to go forward and unable to go back, Kellie quixotically reclaimed her womanhood — but with the name and the appearance of a man.
Though she may never be able to undo the damage, Kellie could do something — warn others, especially parents of children being heavily targeted for "transition."
"In our society, influenced by heavily censored media and the dominance of social media that only focuses on the glitter, little awareness exists regarding the realities and complications of gender transition.
The information is not readily given, and one must search for the truth," Kellie says.
Kellie now spends her time "protecting children from the predation of multinational corporations who see them as cash cows."
Christian counseling can heal gender confusion.
Don't let the "trans" lobby BAN this lifesaving therapy!
As Kellie's story illustrates, the importance of having a good mental health counselor cannot be overstated.
Unfortunately, the transgender ideologists are working hard to prevent adults and children from getting any counseling that does not "affirm" gender dysphoria and the transgender fad.
Christian counseling is highly successful in resolving gender confusion and unwanted same-sex desires.
That's why "pro-trans" ideologues have BANNED this type of counseling in many localities and states nationwide.
Liberty Counsel has fought hard to overturn 23 bans in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama; however, 87 bans are still in effect nationwide. We need your help to fight these bans and ensure that any patient retains the right to see the doctors and mental health counselors they choose.
The U.S. Supreme Court is considering taking up one of these counseling bans.
We will continue fighting city by city and state by state until every counseling ban in the nation is overturned.
Please, help us free those held captive by the trans agenda by funding our legal work today. When you do, a generous Challenge Grant will DOUBLE the impact of your donation. Please give generously today.
And please pray that medical greed and the social contagion of "trangenderism" is unable to harm even one more precious child.
