Thank you Father for you love, grace, and mercy in our lives.
Your word I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you.
I thank you when I do, I can call out to you Jesus and you’re there
For me with open arms.
A full life means different things for different people. So in your quest to live abundantly, don’t compare your circumstances with those of others. You don’t need as much money or as many luxuries as your neighbor in order to live well.
Godliness with contentment is great gain. I want you to be satisfied with My provision for you. If you have food and clothing—the basic necessities of life—seek to be content with that. If I give you more, respond with Joy and thankfulness. But don’t cling to what you have or covet things you do not have. The only thing you can cling to without harming your soul is Me. No matter what you possess in this world, remember: Little (or much) + Me = everything!
“I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”—JOHN 10:9–10
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.—1 TIMOTHY 6:6–8
My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.—PSALM 63:8
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”—JOHN 3:16 ESV
