Dear Friend,
Hannah, a believer in Jesus in Northeast Nigeria, couldn't believe the "unexpected grace..."
Her parents had been murdered at the hands of Boko Haram militants, who'd nearly burned their village to the ground.
As Hannah felt the devastation of her grief, she knew she needed to find a way for her and her siblings to survive. That's why she was overcome by the kindness of a Muslim cleric who offered to care for them.
But the "unexpected grace" was merely a smokescreen to lure Hannah in. The food he offered, financial help, it was all a cover up.
The cleric was more of a monster than a man, and eventually demanded that Hannah denounce her faith in Jesus, convert to Islam, and become his wife. Hannah was just 18 years old.
When Hannah refused, the cleric unleashed his fury on the teenaged girl, even threatening to kill her.
In a tirade, he then cast Hannah before the Sharia Court - demanding her execution with accusations of cheating him and apostasy.
While waiting for her hearing, the Sharia Court locked Hannah up in a Nigerian prison cell... |
URGENT OPPORTUNITY DOUBLE YOUR GIFT WHILE FUNDS LAST.Defend the lives and rights of persecuted Christians today and make double the impact!
Give now to defend persecuted Christians in Nigeria, and worldwide, who are being silenced, shunned, and discriminated against because of their Christian faith.
Your support can be doubled while funds last, thanks to an incredible Matching Grant, to ensure ADF International is always there for our brothers and sisters in Christ with a strong defense. |
Right now, ADF International is on the ground in over 100 countries, including Nigeria where Hannah lives.
And with your help, we're fighting to do everything we can to defend the rights and lives of persecuted Christians who are:
But we must do more.
The lives of more persecuted Christians are in the hands, and at the mercy, of Sharia Courts. That's why I'm writing to ask for your immediate gift of support.
Your immediate gift will be put to work to help defend persecuted Christians like our brothers and sisters in Nigeria facing trial in the highest courts of law. With your help, we'll provide critical defense, legal support, and fight for the rights of persecuted Christians to live out their faith freely without fear.
Your partnership would mean so much to another brother or sister in Christ, like Hannah, who's facing a death sentence for their faith.

When Hannah was locked up, ADF International stepped up.
With your help, our allied lawyer fought and won Hannah's release from prison.
That's when Hannah's accuser got word that she had a team representing her case. And he quickly disappeared. Failing to show up for hearings, the Sharia Court finally dropped Hannah's case and cleared her of any wrongdoing.
Today, Hannah is free!
This is why your support today is so important.
Even now, followers of Jesus in Nigeria - and worldwide - continue to suffer. Their rights are being violated. And their lives are being threatened. All because of the faith.
We must stand together to fight for them, to defend their lives and demand justice - because being a Christian shouldn't be a death sentence. In Nigeria. Or anywhere in the world.
If we don't stand together to defend persecuted Christians, who will?
Give now to stand with persecuted Christians in Nigeria and worldwide.
Thank you in advance for your quick reply, |
