SEASONS CHANGE – by Stephanie M. White
Then He gives the command and it all melts; He breathes on winter--suddenly it's spring! Psalms 147:18 MSG
Winter. To many it seems like a cold, harsh, dead time, but it’s also a time of unseen growth.
These cold times are transitory; God can change things suddenly!
You must stand in faith regarding your season of life.
If you’re enduring what seems like an eternal season of winter, then boost your faith.
Remind yourself of God’s promises regarding your situation and know that it’s only a matter of time before you see change.
God will give the command for your winter season to end and for new life to begin in whatever area you are struggling.
God has given the command for you to be blessed, and no matter what trials come your way, you are blessed (Numbers 23:19-20)!
We must be full of faith regarding God’s faithfulness.
This means that we must fill ourselves with His Word regarding His faithfulness.
God is not a man – He doesn’t make promises that He cannot keep.
At times it may feel like we’ll never see the end of our trial, but those are the times when we must continue to fill ourselves with His promises.
The Word will produce the faith we need to stand strong in these trying times.
Let God breathe on your winter season – let Him reveal His promises to you as you make your home in His Word.
As you do this, you’ll be encouraged regarding your “suddenly!”
Suddenly – what a difference a day can make; today may be the last day you of your trial, so take it one day at a time!
