Heaven Is Our Destination Where We Will Be ONE With The Lord Forever

Today, we are in The Season Of The Last Generation. The Birth Pains that Christ Jesus spoke about are currently under way, including natural and unnatural disasters. They will be ever increasing. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. Social, economic and political turmoil will be ever increasing, causing people's hearts to be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life. An apostasy within the Church of God is currently under way. This will all reach a climax with Satan revealing his Antichrist and requiring that everyone worship him; That every one receive his "mark" in order to buy or sell; The new currency of the New World Order, the New Tower of Babel.

Today, it is critical that those who have a heart for God are aware of what God is doing and speaking today. God is opening up His Word like never before in preparation for The Time Of The END. I exhort you to open up your heart and your eyes to see what He is doing and your ears to hear what God is speaking at this time. My prayer is that we will be able to stand before the Son of Man at His appearing, without fault and with great joy. I encourage you to read David Wilkerson's book, America's Last Call at davidwilkersontoday.blogspot.com. Also, Google, Tommy Hicks Prophecy, 1961 for a view of the End Times.

AMERICA, LIKE ISRAEL IN THE DAYS OF JEREMIAH

Jeremiah warned Israel for 30 years of the coming Judgment of God, if they did not turn from their Sin. America has been warned for its entire existence about the Judgment of God for Sin, and just as with Israel, she has not listen. Today, America is Steeped in her Sin, and Deaf to God’s warnings.

Book 24: Jeremiah The Weeping Prophet

Jeremiah prophesied in the years leading up to and just following the fall of Jerusalem.

He witnessed Babylon’s attacks and three separate waves of captivity.

He saw the destruction of the Temple and the ruin of the city.

Jeremiah is often called “the weeping prophet” because his prophecies were so often filled with a sense of sadness and mourning.

In one of the gloomiest periods in the history of the nation, Jeremiah continually delivered bad news.

His sadness very accurately expressed the heart of God who, in the midst of judgment, was grieved by the depth of the people’s sin.

Judgment came upon Judah and Jerusalem for their stubborn disobedience.

So at this time of severe judgment, God called a man with a sensitive heart to communicate tearful messages.

But despite his many sincere warnings, the people did not turn from their wrongdoing.

Instead, their worship of idols and blatant rebellion and sin against God kept getting worse.

Jeremiah’s compassion comes through clearly throughout this book.

Just as the nation rejected Jeremiah, they were rejecting a compassionate and loving God.

And as the people hardened in their rebellion, God continued to speak, trying to draw them back to Himself.

Blatant, continuous sin inevitably leads to tragedy.

But the Lord is faithful; His love never fails.

So the Book of Jeremiah also contains wonderful promises of future blessing to the nation of Israel.

Jeremiah: A Few Facts

Jeremiah is the only major or minor prophet to give us more than one book. (Jeremiah & Lamentations)

He was the only prophet that God told not to pray for the nation. (7)

Jeremiah is the only man in the Bible that God told not to get married. (16)

He was the most hated and persecuted of the Old Testament prophets.

It appears from his book that, during his 40 years of ministry, not one person ever responded to his preaching with repentance.

Jeremiah’s ministry spanned the reigns of five kings plus the time of a governor who ruled under Babylon.

He is the only prophet to give us an eyewitness account of the destruction of Jerusalem.

• “Babylon” appears in Jeremiah over 160 times, more than in the rest of the Bible put together.

God is called “the Lord of Hosts (or Armies)” some 80 times in Jeremiah.

• “Backsliding” is another key word, appearing 13 times.
