WHAT DOES YOUR LIFE FEEL LIKE EACH DAY?

 

Fragmented

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20 ESV)

What does your life feel like each day? 

Stressed? 

Fragmented? 

Torn to pieces? 

Is there so much going on in your life it feels like a spinning merry-go-round?

We all have many roles to play — parent, student/employee, leader, wife/husband, brother/sister — all of which may switch at a moment’s notice until we begin to feel fragmented, torn to pieces, even stretched beyond our limits.

Many believers, who have invited Jesus Christ into their lives, are doing their best to live for Him while trying to manage everything else in their lives. 

This is a misunderstanding. 

When we were born-again, the very life of Christ was placed in us, so it is no longer we that live each day and minute, but Christ who lives in us.

When Christ died, our old nature died with Him.

When He rose from the grave to new life, we rose with Him — to a new life empowered by the same power that raised Him. 

Imagine that! 

The power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us, (Romans 8:11 ESV). 

Is there any greater power? No!

When we ‘step aside from the controls’ in our lives and allow Him to live His life through us, it will be a different life. 

The evidence of His presence will be peace, joy, love, patience, etc.

Lord God, help us see that if we let You be our very life, You will have all we need to have a life that is not torn to pieces and fragmented, but whole and restful. Amen
