Social, economic and political turmoil will be ever increasing, causing people's hearts to be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life. “The job of the military is to kill the bad guys,” not “sit around a circle, emoting and passing daisies back and forth,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said, reacting to new “woke” recruitment ads, such as one featuring a soldier raised by a lesbian couple.

“What we're seeing is Democratic politicians and these woke lefty bureaucrats and lefty media reporters trying to destroy the American military, trying to turn it into, frankly, a bunch of pansies,” Sen. Cruz said Friday in an interview with Fox News Channel:
