Word battles The corruption of language is Satan’s oldest trick. In the Garden of Eden, God commanded Adam and Eve to eat from any tree they wished except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Satan twisted God’s words, and Adam and Eve believed his verbal manipulations, which led to the downfall of all creation.
