BIDEN ABANDONS THE ABRAHAM ACCORDS

The Biden administration has decided to rewrite history on the Abraham Accords. Biden apparently forgot he was for it before he was against it. Memory issues aside, Biden’s reckless Middle East policy IS (at least partly) responsible for what we just witnessed in Israel.

Back when President Trump first announced the historic Abraham Accords agreements, Biden not only praised the deal, but he also tried to take credit for it! I was invited to attend the historic event. I sat beside a diplomat from Bahrain who loves Israel. She was so excited to see peace between the two nations. It is an historic and joyous day I will never forget!

During the 2020 campaign, then-candidate Joe Biden tried to claim that the Obama-Biden administration had created the opportunity for the Abraham Accords in the first place. Claiming he had “personally spent time with the leaders of Israel and the UAE,” Biden tried to give the impression that his efforts as vice president under Obama were responsible for the historic Abraham Accords.

And now Biden also wants to enter a new Iran Deal that will pave the way for the terror state to become a nuclear power. Biden has become a “clear and present danger” to America, Israel and the Middle East.

Extolling the virtues of the agreement when it was signed, Biden characterized the accords as a “welcome, brave and badly-needed act of statesmanship.”

Biden went on to declare, “A Biden-Harris Administration will seek to build on this progress, and will challenge all the nations of the region to keep pace.”

But either Joe forgot or his handlers have changed the script because this week, the Biden administration switched rails completely, not only abandoning the deal but also pretending to have never embraced it in the first place!

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki apparently hoped the press and public had forgotten about Biden’s statements last year. This week, she told reporters, “Aside from putting forward a peace proposal that was dead on arrival, we don’t think they did anything constructive, really, to bring an end to the longstanding conflict in the Middle East.”

But Trump’s Accords brought the first normalization of relations between an Arab nation and Israel in decades.

In contrast, Biden’s actions fueled the 11-day war that Hamas launched on Israel just weeks ago. Supplied by Iran, Hamas hurled 4,000 shrapnel-filled rockets at innocent Israelis.

And when Biden demanded Israel cease fire, Hamas declared victory. We must not allow a new Iran Deal so that the mullahs can usher in a new Holocaust.

Biden’s memory faculties aside, this abrupt about-face is likely a reflection of the people with whom he surrounds himself.

As you know from my earlier emails, Biden has packed his cabinet with pro-Palestinian Israel-haters. And now 500 of Biden’s former staffers have signed a letter demanding he condemn Israel.

On May 19, 2021, rabidly anti-Israel Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib gave Biden an earful while standing on a Detroit Metro Airport tarmac. “Palestinians aren’t going anywhere, no matter how much more money you send to Israel’s apartheid government,” Tlaib told Biden.

Days later, Biden announced an about-face abandonment of the Accords.

The United States Senate must stand and protect Israel. I hope you will join me in demanding every single senator stand now with Israel and against Joe Biden’s destructive anti-Israel plans.

Joe Biden cannot be trusted with the future of Israel. His feckless attempts to appease Iran resulted in Iran funding and fueling the very terror that has rocked Israel for weeks.
