I know that there are a lot of folks that are struggling with fear, especially in these times we find ourselves living in. I know this because I talk with them on a regular basis. Various scenarios, the what-ifs, the unknowns and the possibilities play out in their heads, from the time they wake up to the time they finally fall asleep, after much tossing and turning.
If you are finding yourself being gripped by fear, I encourage you to replace the 'you' with 'me' in II Timothy 1:7 and, whenever possible, speak this scripture outloud over yourself each day (perhaps throughout the day).
Fear can, and many times does, rob us of relationships, opportunities and the simple joys of life.
John 10:10 (NLT) says, "The thief's purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My (Jesus) purpose is to give them (You and I) a rich and satisfying life and life."
Have a blessed day!
