Fellow American,
The radical left has a rallying cry -- and it’s likely not what you think.
“Never let a good crisis go to waste.”
That’s what Rahm Emanuel, who was President Obama’s Chief of Staff, said about the 2008 financial disaster, and the line still guides liberals today. When our great nation faces crisis, they look for opportunities to advance their radical political agenda.
You and I have seen them in action this week as some House and Senate liberals chose to play politics with emergency coronavirus relief legislation rather than help Americans in need, like President Trump wants to do.
Their behavior is shameful, but sadly, it’s not new. It’s part of their playbook -- and it shows how the radical left prioritizes their extreme ideology over the American people.
This shows us what’s at stake when we choose elected officials to represent us in office and to work on behalf of our country.
When I think ahead to the 2020 election this fall, I know that it’s all on the line for the future of America … and I’m ready to get to work to help elect principled leaders who will respect and protect our faith-based values and put America first.
I’ve shared with you Faith & Freedom Coalition’s 2020 Project: Roadmap to Victory, which is our most ambitious plan yet.
Although circumstances on the ground have changed due to coronavirus, Faith & Freedom’s 2020 Project remains on course to galvanize voters of faith to go to the polls and help elected like-minded conservatives this year.
Thanks to the support of people like you, this year Faith & Freedom will:
- register more than 5 million new voters,
- mail more than 100 pieces of educational voter mail,
- turn out 18 million voters to the polls, and
- make a difference -- and a big impact -- for our shared values.
Today, more than ever, our nation stands at a crossroads.
Especially in these unusual times, I know that Faith & Freedom’s 2020 Project will make the difference for faith and freedom in our country this year -- and for many years to come.
Every day you and I can see how the leaders we choose to represent us really matter, and this year, we must remain committed to help elect those who will respect and protect our shared faith-based values.
