The Human Rights Campaign (an LGBT group) has increased its efforts to pressure legislators to pass HR 5 because of the following three high court cases.
- A skydiver, Donald Zarda, told a female jumper not to worry about being strapped to him because he was homosexual. After her boyfriend complained to Altitude Express, Zarda was fired. The skydiver sued before his unfortunate death in a 2014 base-jumping accident. The lower court ruled that “sex” includes “sexual orientation.”
- Gerald Bostock claims he was fired from his job as a child welfare services coordinator when his employer found out he is homosexual. The lower court ruled that “sex” does not include “sexual orientation.”
- A male funeral director demanded to wear skirts to work and said he identified as a “woman.” The company said “the employee’s actions would violate the company’s sex-specific dress code and disrupt the healing process of grieving families.” The lower court ruled that “sex” includes “gender identity.”
These are huge cases, and with the change in the Court, LGBT activists fear they will lose. They want to pass HR 5 before the Court rules.
Our petition against HR 5 will give you a way to help stop this radical agenda and protect religious freedom. Just take 45 seconds to add your name to our list of signers by clicking the link below.

I need your signature opposing HR 5.
HR 5 eliminates all exemptions for religious freedom.
We led the charge to oppose Chai Feldblum’s reappointment by President Trump to the EEOC. Only a few groups were willing to raise concerns over her radical views. Feldblum was famous for seeing the zero-sum game between religious freedom and LGBT, and she worked to push these privileges. We were able to stop her reappointment and neutralize the EEOC from being an arm of the LGBT agenda.
Now this case is before the U.S. Supreme Court. It was pushed under Feldblum’s leadership and she used your tax dollars to get it there. (I will be working hard on these court cases through Liberty Counsel.)
We were again the first to expose HR 5 and educate on the dangers of this bill. We can only continue to lead these major battles if we have the financial support of people like you. This month we are behind on support because of technical censorship. Would you prayerfully consider donating to cover this shortfall?
Please send this email to like-minded friends. This is a critical battle. We can win if we work together.
Sincerely,
Mat Staver
Chairman
