With the improvement of the society, each one of us has different plan and pursuit of our life, therefore, we are all working hard for our lives and for our future.
While being asked why they strive so hard, most of them say:
“I don’t have any choice because I have to live.
I am afraid I won’t be able to continue my life if I stop striving hard.
I feel tired, but can’t stop working hard once I think of my future life.”
Let’s quiet down and think about it.
Is it truly the life that God would like us to live?
Listen, let’s see what the Lord Jesus said.
.
The Lord Jesus said,
"Therefore I say to you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on.
Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much better than they?"
(Matthew 6:25-26)
.
Don't worry, God tells us,
"The greater God’s refinement, the more people’s hearts are able to love God. The torment in their hearts is of benefit to their lives, they are more able to be at peace before God, their relationship with God is closer, and they are better able to see God’s supreme love and His supreme salvation.
Peter experienced refinement hundreds of times, and Job underwent several trials.
If you wish to be made perfect by God, you too must undergo refinement hundreds of times; only if you have to go through this process, and have to rely upon this step, are you able to satisfy God’s will, and be made perfect by God."
