Charlie Daniels on Cuomo's Abortion Law: It's a 'New Auschwitz ... Satan Is Smiling'
Commenting on the sweeping abortion-on-demand legislation that New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed into law on Jan. 22, country music legend and commentator Charlie Daniels said Cuomo was sanctioning "thousands of murders," had created "a new Aushwitz" dedicated to killing the innocent, and that
"Satan is smiling."
The bill Cuomo signed, the Reproductive Health Act, allows for abortion across-the-board, even up to the day of birth if the doctor or the patient believes the mother's "health" is at risk.
"Health" is not defined in the legislation. Midwives will be allowed to perform chemical abortions and non-doctor physician assistants will be allowed to perform surgical abortions.
If a baby survives an abortion, no life-saving medical personnel need be alerted.
"Watch the wrinkles on cuomo's face lengthen as the ramifications of the thousands of murders he has sanctioned come to bear on him," wrote Charlie Daniels in a Jan. 26 tweet.
"The NY legislature has created a new Auschwitz dedicated to the execution of a whole segment of defenseless citizens," he wrote.
"Satan is smiling," concluded Daniels.
Auschwitz was a Nazi-run labor and death camp in Poland during World War II.
It is estimated that 1.1 million prisoners were killed at Auschwitz and that about 90% of the victims were Jewish.
The other victims were Christian Poles, Soviet prisoners, Eastern Europeans, and other political prisoners.
The Nazis also had laws in place to exterminate so-called "undesireables" and "garbage children," sub-human labels they placed on the handicapped, the mentally ill, Down syndrome children, and other people the Nazis deemed as unfit.
According to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, 6 million Jews were exterminated by the Nazis during World War II and another 12-plus-million people were killed:
Soviet civilians and POWs, Serbians, people with disabilities, Gypsies, Jehovahs Witnesses, and other people deemed as enemies, including many Catholic priests and religious sisters.
In total, the Nazis killed close to 19 million in their concentration camps.
Since the Surpeme Court's Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 -- no legislation was ever passed, it was a court decision --
more than 56 million babies have been killed by abortion.
Every day, on average, 2,900 babies are aborted.
Satan truly is smiling.
