- Google employees around the globe are walking out to protest the protection of Andy Rubin on Thursday
- Android mobile software creator Rubin was reportedly given a $90million exit package despite facing misconduct allegations that were reported to the company before her resigned and deemed credible
- Rubin is accused of coercing a woman into performing oral sex on him while in a hotel room in 2013
- Google gave Rubin a $14 million loan in 2012 to buy a villa in Japan, at an interest rate of less than one percent
- Google has fired 48 people over sexual harassment claims in the last two years, including 13 senior people
- Walkout organizers said they presented petitions to management and demanded stricter employee oversight
- Some workers even left their positions at Google in protest over the culture at the mostly-male led company
