This week, Russia delivered four S-300 air defense systems to Syria, despite opposition to the move from the US and Israel. Just today, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called Russia's action a "very serious escalation." The delivery follows the Russia-Israel conflict over who is responsible for the downing of a Russian plane that killed all 15 onboard. Meanwhile, Iran pours billions into its military and showers scorn on Israel, blasting it as a "malignant cancerous tumor … that has to be removed." Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah, has stockpiled more than 100,000 missiles in Lebanon, with some 70,000 in Syria … all aimed at Israel. And Hezbollah’s leader threatens, "The day of the great war is coming."
