LIMBAUGH: MEDIA 'GOING TO GET SOMEBODY KILLED'

Warns 'this hatred is a poison. It is intensifying because there's no outlet for it'

President Trump calls the coalition of mainstream news outlets in America “fake news” and they respond by investigating him, casting doubt on his word, integrity and plans, report all sorts of allegations – even those that are “salacious” and unsupported like in the “dossier” that started the Russia investigation.

In short, there’s never been a media so at war with a president as right now.

And talk-show host Rush Limbaugh issued a warning Wednesday that if it continues, it’s going to end very badly.

“I’m just gonna say it here. If the media keeps this up – if they keep up generating this hysteria – somebody’s gonna get killed. I think we’re pretty close to somebody getting killed already, and I’m not being hyperbolic, and I’m not trying to call attention to myself.

“I’m genuinely worried about the out-of-control aspect of this. The news media’s fanning the flames. The news media is leading the way on this. It’s again an oxymoron. News media? There is no media, and none of this is news.”

The latest eruption of hate against Trump has been the nonstop diatribe for days now over the practice at the border of separating parents from children when the parents bring the family into the nation illegally and face criminal charges.

The fact that the policy and practice was the same under Barack Obama, a darling of the left, is almost never mentioned.

Trump Wednesday issued an order that is supposed to keep families together, but that didn’t stop the nonstop assaults.

Limbaugh traces the media agenda against the president back to when he defeated the media’s darling, Hillary Clinton, in 2016.

“Donald Trump committed an unpardonable sin, and that was winning the presidential election. This today is not about kids and the way they’re being treated anywhere. 

This is about Donald Trump winning and these people not being able to do anything about it. 

Look at everything they’ve thrown at Trump. They’ve had full-blown intelligence community FBI, CIA, DOJ, special counsel investigations all happening simultaneously designed to drive Donald Trump from office in six months.”

But they’ve failed.

In fact, Limbaugh pointed out, the president’s popularity is rising, satisfaction is up, people are optimistic, the economy is looking better.

But his critics now have “reached the boiling point.”

“Virtually every news story today has a component driving it, which is hate,” he said. “And it is hate for victors, hate for the successful, hate for Donald Trump. They don’t have any outlet for it!”

The “Drive-By Media,” he said, is “unhinged.”

“This hatred is a poison. It is intensifying because there’s no outlet for it.”

And Congress?

It’s denying its own responsibility for writing the laws, he said.

“And when presented with solutions or when told to fix it because you wrote the you laws, ‘Oh, no, no, no, no! No, no, no. This is the presidency the president’s responsibility. We can’t…’ They don’t want this solved. This isn’t about the kids. It isn’t about separated families. Those circumstances are just the opportunity. They are just the stage on which to run this latest operation. The Democrats now more than ever are rabid, unhinged…”

By the way, Limbaugh pointed out, “They’ve already begun shooting Republicans at baseball practice.”

That would be Rep. Steve Scalise, who was injured last year by a leftist fan of the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center, which described Scalise as a white supremacist.

Limbaugh cited a long list of threats by Hollywood stars, such as Peter Fonda, and others against the president’s son, Barron, the children of federal officials and employees, and more.

“This is who the American left is. They have been trending in this direction for the entire time I’ve been hosting this particular program. 

Yeah, it happened before, but now it is full-blown, five-alarm, 9.8 Richter scale, DEFCON 5 rage. I really mean I think somebody’s gonna get seriously hurt here before this is all over. Peter Fonda — who fits the bill of obscure, forgotten, incompetent, never amounted to much anyway, desperate to be known, desperate to be influential — has started tweeting in all caps.”
