| PRAY FOR BEND, OREGON Oregon was the first state in the nation to legalize physician-assisted suicide and tragically, the number of people who have chosen to end their lives has climbed every year since. This practice, as well as others like it, are widely accepted in Bend, Oregon—one of the fastest-growing cities in the country and the second stop on the Pacific Northwest Tour. Across the state only one-third of the population say they believe in absolute standards for right and wrong. Will you take time to pray for the people of Bend this week? Here are a few specific ways to pray: • Thousands of people in Bend, Oregon, don’t know Jesus Christ—and more lost individuals are arriving there every day. Please ask God to draw them into a relationship with His Son during the tour. • While only a third of people in Oregon believe in absolute right and wrong, even fewer look to God and His Word for moral direction and guidance.
