Nancy Pelosi Let A Secret Slip And It Could End Her Career For Good

Nancy Pelosi stepped in it.

The House Minority Leader was speaking before a friendly audience and she let a secret slip out.

And it ended up being a massive mistake that could end her career.

Nancy Pelosi was speaking at Georgetown University where she began to feel punchy about the Democrats chances in the fall.

Pelosi predicted victory and outlined the Democrat majority’s agenda.

She declared that as Speaker, she would ram through legislation to grab guns, grant amnesty to illegal aliens, and raise taxes.

“A CONFIDENT HOUSE MINORITY LEADER NANCY PELOSI (D-CA) PREDICTED ON TUESDAY THAT DEMOCRATS WILL TAKE BACK THE HOUSE AND IMMEDIATELY PUSH FOR AMNESTY FOR SO-CALLED DREAMERS AND MORE GUN-CONTROL LEGISLATION.

“WHEN WE WIN AND WE TAKE OVER IN JANUARY, SOME OF THE ISSUES THAT WILL COME UP SOON ARE SOME OF THE ISSUES THAT WE ARE ASKING THE SPEAKER TO DO RIGHT NOW,” SHE SAID AT A GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY EVENT.

PELOSI THEN SAID DEMOCRATS ARE SET TO PUSH “GUN-VIOLENCE LEGISLATION AND BACKGROUND-CHECKS LEGISLATION” IN ADDITION TO “LEGISLATION ON THE DREAMERS.”

“CERTAINLY THAT WILL BE AMONG THE THINGS WE WILL DO RIGHT AWAY,” SHE CONTINUED.

PELOSI ALSO SUGGESTED THAT DEMOCRATS WOULD “REVISIT” PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP’S TAX CUTS AND PUSH AN INFRASTRUCTURE BILL TO “BUILD THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF AMERICA—HOUSING, SCHOOLS, BRIDGES, WATER.”

There is no question Democrats are favored to make gains in November.

The party out of power usually does well in the midterms.

But the Democrats are having dreams of a blue wave washing all across America and sweeping them into power.

Pelosi may have miscalculated.

If Republicans believe Democrats will flood the country with illegal aliens and turn them into reliable Democrat voters through amnesty—on top of banning guns—they could be more motivated to turn out and vote.

Any uptick in GOP turnout would stem the Democrats’ tide.

And it could cost Pelosi her job.

Jim Clyburn – one of the members of Democrat leadership in the House – said the entire leadership team should resign if they fail to win the House.

Other members will only add their voice to that call if Republicans hang on to their majority.
