If you allow the love of God to flow through you, then you can impact your community, the workplace, church, the group you are in, the educational institution you attend, even the culture, profoundly. 

You ask how? Simply be Christ-like. The Bible compels us to be like Christ and not like the world.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

In a word, we must stand out from the world and affect change. This requires the love of God that goes beyond common sense. Love deeply and passionately, whether it’s returned or not. Love those you consider unlovable.

This involves random acts of kindness.

Treat others better than you feel they deserve to be treated.

Respect yourself and others.

Agree to disagree politely instead of insisting others accept your beliefs or opinion.

Refrain from being a busybody and stop gossiping.

 
Cease treating those who are not like you as inferior.

Share the gospel of Jesus without debating over difference of denominations.

Be good to everyone regardless of their race, financial or social status, religious beliefs,
or lifestyle choices. 

Be honest: choose truth rather than error even if you are rejected, abandoned, or alienated.

Be merciful instead of judging wrongfully.

Help those in need when it's in your power to do so without expecting applause.

Live to please God wholeheartedly rather than pleasing people.

Father, love covers a multitude of sins. I’ll be forgiving and compassionate. I’m ready!
