Dr. Michael Brown Asks "Why So Much Anti-Christian Hate?"
Nov 08, 2017 by Alyssa Duvall - HELLO CHRISTIAN
“If ever there was a time when we might have expected sympathy for Christians, or at least restraint in attacking them,” it should be on the Sunday that over two dozen church members were massacred in their place of worship, Dr. Michael Brown tells Charisma News readers in his latest editorial.
However, as noted by cultural commentator David French, the day of the Sutherland Springs shooting is the day we also saw a “stunning” amount of “anti-Christian hate” on Twitter.
The Twitterverse was inundated with responses to the shooting, but commentary from many opponents to Christianity shared a hostile and mocking tone.
“Faith in God is to be mocked, in particular Christian faith, and when Christians are slaughtered during a church service, that is the perfect time to pile on,” Dr. Brown said of the social media comments.
“To paraphrase: ‘Where was your God, you stupid Christians?
A lot of good your praying did!
Go ahead and stick your head in the sand some more and keep praying to your imaginary deity…’”
My comments: Jesus told us that the World would HATE Him because He tells the World that what it does is EVIL. (John 7:7)
