Our Worth
by Robert Schaetzle
“Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent , I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the Gospel.” [Philippians 1:27 NKJV]
Our worth is not about who we are in the flesh, but who we are in Christ who created us.
Living life through our new birth comes when we recognize God’s Spirit at work in us. God’s presence comes alive, and our conduct begins to align with our worth in Christ, as we learn to yield to His Spiritual prompting’s.
Consider living in this world as though citizens of the Father’s heavenly kingdom, not isolated as being unknown, but purpose filled from God’s indwelling presence for the progress and joy of the faith.
Stand fast in the Spirit in full confidence that God’s redeeming power that overcomes all things is at work in your daily life.
Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4b)
Strive together in fellowship, in one mind for the faith of the gospel.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching. (Heb 10:25)
I find that when I participate in weekly and monthly prayer circles at my place of worship, I am encouraged, peaceful, and my conduct becomes more aligned with my worth in Christ.
An abiding trust in His authority and promises overcomes all fear and doubt, bringing my conduct in line with my worth in Christ and my confession of faith.
