Pastor's Son Beaten Up For Preaching Gospel At School, Then Leads All Of Them To Christ!
Apr 06, 2017 by Will Maule - HELLO CHRISTIAN
Robby Dawkins is well-known for his healing and evangelism ministry. He regularly goes out on the streets to pray for people, and has always encouraged his kids to do the same. Well, one day, his son Judah was preaching at his school, when it all went wrong.
"He was preaching in his high school. And after school, literally for an almost an entire year, he went through lots of persecution," says Dawkins, who encourages all his kids to be bold in sharing the gospel. "We always thought they would be angry with God or the Church. But let me tell you something, it works the opposite," says Dawkins. "It made them so strong and bold, and fearless."
"One year, my son was beaten up nearly every day. Cos he would share Jesus and pray for people. He would pray for girls, and they would stop having sex with their boyfriends. So the boyfriends would get mad. It was a cycle."
Then one day, a group of boys he had been sharing Jesus with jumped him. "They knocked him out and left him in the middle of the street and left him there to be run over by a car," Dawkins recalls.
"This one boy had been punching him, he said "I hate you, and I want you to die." Judah replied "with every last breath I will tell you that Jesus died for you. He loves you and wants to set you free."
"My son ended up not stopping until he led every one of those boys to Jesus."
"Judah said "Dad, I had to get revenge. The Lord showed me the revenge of God was to lead every one of those boys to Jesus."
Judah now wants to be a missionary in China with his wife.
But there is one more twist. When Judah and his wife got married, the boy who beat him up ended up being best man at his wedding! "I would be dead if it wasn't for Judah," the boy said in his speech.
WOW!
