From the Desk Of:
Judge Neil Gorsuch, President Trump's nominee to become the next Associate Justice on the United States Supreme Court, has just endured three days of intense scrutiny.
Today, I am asking you to do two things.
• First, as I mentioned above, let's pray for Judge Gorsuch, and senators as they consider their vote on Judge Gorsuch's nomination. The reasons for prayer are many, as Rev. Franklin Graham so aptly explained on his Facebook page:
• Second, as we deliver our "Confirm Neil Gorsuch" petitions to key senators today, I am calling for every friend of Liberty Counsel to take action and express your vote of confidence for Judge Gorsuch. If you haven't already done so, please consider sending a powerful message to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and also your two Oregon senators. Let them know where you stand on this vital vote to come.
You can use our pre-written letters or craft one of your own!
+ + Judge Gorsuch is an outstanding nominee and has handled himself extremely well in the confirmation hearings so far.
Among Judge Gorsuch's many on-target answers came when, once again, he was challenged on the issue of equal rights for women, minorities, and LGBTQ people. His response included the following:
The confirmation of Judge Neil Gorsuch is critical to the makeup of the High Court and to our nation's culture and laws for decades to come.

Thank you for your vote of confidence for Judge Neil Gorsuch!
God bless you. And God bless America.

Judge Neil Gorsuch, President Trump's nominee to become the next Associate Justice on the United States Supreme Court, has just endured three days of intense scrutiny.
Democrat senators, politically driven to undermine the Judge's confirmation, packed their allotted time with "gotcha questions," challenging him on prior rulings such as Roe v Wade, LGBTQ issues, and alleged corporate favoritism. They then resorted to mischaracterizations and allegations ranging from Judge Gorsuch being a right-wing judicial activist to a Trump pawn.
And now they have now resorted to calling for delays in the vote.

• First, as I mentioned above, let's pray for Judge Gorsuch, and senators as they consider their vote on Judge Gorsuch's nomination. The reasons for prayer are many, as Rev. Franklin Graham so aptly explained on his Facebook page:
Democratic progressives like Senator Chuck Schumer have made it clear that they will do everything within their power to stop his confirmation. The atheist progressives in this nation want to strip God and all references to Him out of our society. They want to marginalize Christians to the point of making them second class citizens, forcing them into the shadows and penalizing them if they don't go there.
This past election was about the Supreme Court—and the issue facing us today is not wiretaps, it's not Russia, it's still about the Supreme Court. If approved, Gorsuch will add a needed conservative voice on America's highest court. Will you join me in praying for Judge Gorsuch and for the Senate as they go through the confirmation process this week?

"The law they [the Framers] drafted promises equal protection of the laws to all persons. That's what they wrote…. And equal protection of the laws does not mean separate in advancing one particular race or gender. It means equal."
The confirmation of Judge Neil Gorsuch is critical to the makeup of the High Court and to our nation's culture and laws for decades to come.
