Attorney General Lynch Signed Off on ALL FISA Applications to WireTap Trump
The FISA Court was in the news this weekend after President Trump took it to twitter to reveal that ex-President Obama had petitioned a court twice in order to wiretap the sitting President Trump, before the election.
Back in 1978 when Congress enacted the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the FISA Court was also put in place. It sits in Washington D.C. and it consists of 11 federal district court judges designated by the Chief Justice of the U.S. Every single judge serves for maximum of seven years, and their terms are staggered to ensure the continuity on the Court. The judges usually sit for one week at a time, on a rotating basis.
The Court entertains applications submitted by the U.S. Government for approval of electronic surveillance, physical actions as well as investigative actions for foreign intelligence purposes. The majority of the Court’s work is conducted ex parte as required by statute, as well as the need to protect classified sensitive national security information.
As of right now, every single judge on the FISA Court was appointed during Obama’s Presidency. 5 of the 11 judges currently on the court are scheduled to stay on the court for Trump’s entire first term, with the 6 other judges’ terms expiring before January 2021.
ABC News has reported that more than 1000 applications for electronic surveillance, which were all signed by the attorney general, are submitted each year, with the majority of them being approved. From the year 2009 to 2015, more than 10,700 applications for electronic surveillance were submitted, and only one of those applications was entirely denied, according to annual reports sent to Congress. Another application was denied in part, while 17 more were withdrawn by the government.
All of the applications sent to the FISA Court were signed off by the Attorney General which means that all of the applications processed in the past year were signed off on by Loretta Lynch. This means that she also signed off a request to wiretap Trump Tower prior the election.
Now if that isn’t a clear indication that she has something going on against him, keep in mind that she also released a video which calls for more marching, death and blood on the streets. Aside from this, she is also responsible for not choosing to investigate the Clinton Foundation for illegal activities, but rather signed an application to wiretap President Trump.
And another disturbing fact about the whole wiretapping request of President Trump, is that the FISA Court turned down Obama’s administration’s first request to wiretap Trump, that was also signed by Attorney General Lynch. With only 2 applications denied out of 10,700 in just 6 years, the fact that the application of Obama’s administration was denied is completely disturbing.
So now, we can without a doubt say, that Obama’s presidency was the most corrupt one in the entire history of the United States.
