Last weekend, the ACLU gathered thousands of newly recruited left-leaning "activists" in Miami who were joined by tens of thousands more online to participate in "Resistance Training."
The ACLU's newly-launched "People Power" rally cry is to empower misguided grassroots activists to take action against the many of the initiatives that we elected the Trump administration and the 115th Congress to push forward.
The ACLU is also deploying their 300 attorneys to challenge President Trump's rollback of Barack Obama's radical mandates in the courts that he spent eight years packing with left-leaning judges.
+ + The ACLU plans to be a disruptive force in the courts, town halls, state legislatures, and on Capitol Hill.
The ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero told the audience, "We'll do the work in the courts. You do the work in the streets… We can put pressure on elected officials through town halls, lobbying, direct actions, through protests in support of the values we believe in."
In a prior interview, Romero said, "Litigation on a broad range of issues and jurisdictions can rob the Trump administration of its momentum, gum up their machinery and make it hard for them to move down their to-do list."

Their agenda includes an aggressive pro-LGBTQ campaign that includes fighting against any religious liberty protections that they deem to be "antigay" offered by President Trump or Congress. The ACLU is already attempting to overturn President Trump's revocation of the former president's "Bathroom Directive."
They are also partnering with Planned Parenthood to protect Roe v. Wade and to roll back any restrictive abortion laws passed by states, including horrific "dismemberment" abortions, a barbaric and dangerous procedure. They've also vowed to fight against "The Unborn Child Protection Act," should it once again make its way through Congress.
The plans of this radical group are now among the biggest threats to life, liberty, and family in the history of America. Now armed with over $80 million in post-election war chest funds, the ACLU is pushing to advance its radical agenda like never before.

Earlier this month, Liberty Counsel helped secure another victory against the ACLU when U. S. Magistrate Judge Edward Atkins entered an order in Miller v. Davis, denying the plaintiffs' demand that Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis pay the ACLU $231,000 in attorney's fees.

In response, the ACLU is vowing to fight the decision so that financial penalties will be a deterrent to future pro-liberty efforts.

P.S. The ACLU intends to use the courts to disrupt the Trump presidency. Just days ago, the ACLU deployed their attorneys to file "an ethics complaint against Attorney General Jeff Sessions over his testimony to a Senate committee that he had no communications with the Russian government," according to a report by the Washington Post.
The ACLU is emboldened by their huge infusion of cash and are spending millions on their new "People Power" campaign.
