TWO PRO-ABORTION GIANTS UNITE TO FIGHT

Emboldened by a windfall of over $8 million and a new lifeline of donors following the Trump election victory, the ACLU has now joined forces with Planned Parenthood to file lawsuits against several states' common sense restrictions on abortions.

As reported by Christian News Network, the secular giants' pro-abortion targets include "a North Carolina law banning abortion after 20 weeks (5 months), an Alaskan law preventing health centers from performing abortions past the first trimester (almost 4 months), and a Missouri law requiring abortionists to have admitting privileges at a local hospital and to perform abortions in facilities that meet the standards of an ambulatory surgical center."

Planned Parenthood's chief medical officer, Dr. Raegan McDonald-Mosley, said in a recent teleconference, 'We are going to fight back state by state and law by law until every person has the right to pursue the life they want, including the right to decide to end a pregnancy.'"

Liberty Counsel's legal team will most assuredly aggressively fight against the ACLU and Planned Parenthood, as we welcome every opportunity to defend life, particularly on behalf of those who have no voice to speak for themselves.

• We are currently defending the Center for Medical Progress' undercover investigator, Sandra Merritt, in a massive suit launched by Planned Parenthood.

• We are defending a pro-life activist who was protesting a new Planned Parenthood facility being built between an elementary and middle school in Washington, D.C.

• Our team is challenging the California ruling requiring pro-life centers to post information about nearby abortion clinics.

• And, we have just filed the opening brief in the lawsuit against the city of Harrisburg, PA, because its ordinance created unconstitutional buffer zones on public sidewalks and public property 20 feet away from abortion clinic entrances, exits, and driveways. The U.S. Supreme Court recently overturned similar buffer zones in McCullen v. Coakley, the unanimous decision which establishes a strong precedent in favor of this lawsuit. 
This city's blatant discrimination against these sidewalk counselors is unconstitutional. The city cannot prohibit them since sidewalks and parks have always been viewed as a place where there is respect for the marketplace of ideas. It is a dangerous position for a city to prohibit this constitutional, reasonable viewpoint.

+ + The ACLU and Planned Parenthood - two GIANT pro-abortion organizations - are renewing heartless targeting of the defenseless!

Liberty Counsel must immediately prepare for an unprecedented amount of litigation from the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and others who are armed with huge war chests of funds.
