Scandals piling up as Trump's path to victory widens

The panic is palpable.

Five separate investigations are probing Hillary Clinton’s inner circle. Reports are circulating something even bigger is about to drop.

For the first time, the American people rate Donald Trump as more trustworthy than Hillary Clinton. And Donald Trump is surging in the polls nationwide.

In a recent interview, New York Times bestselling author and investigative reporter Ed Klein, author of “Guilty As Sin,” said the crisis for the Clintons is about to get a whole lot worse.

“In my view, what has not been reported, and what I think is very significant, is that we’ve all forgotten that Anthony Weiner is under investigation for what amounts to child pornography, alleged child pornography,” Klein told Breitbart News’ Alex Marlow on SiriusXM radio.

Klein suggested Weiner made the FBI aware of his computer, which contained hundreds of thousands of emails from his estranged wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. The emails could include illegally stored classified information.

In exchange, Klein believes, Weiner cut a deal to reduce the serious criminal charges he could face, including child pornography. Weiner allegedly exchanged sexually charged texts with a 15-year-old girl over a period of months, despite knowing the girl’s age.

Weiner is currently in seclusion, with reports emerging Wednesday he has checked into a sex addiction clinic.

Klein said FBI Director James Comey was forced to act against Hillary Clinton to “redeem” himself in the eyes of his department and his wife. As WND reported earlier this week, Comey was facing a department that had become positively “mutinous,” with morale plummeting, agents resigning and some of the director’s top deputies refusing to speak to him.

The attempt by Comey to quell the dissent within his department has now spilled over into a full-fledged conflict within the executive branch. President Obama and Attorney General Loretta Lynch are “furious” with Comey, according to a source close to the director.

Obama unleashed on Comey publicly on Wednesday, accusing him of violating the department’s norms.

“I do think that there is a norm that when there are investigations we don’t operate on innuendo, and we don’t operate on incomplete information, and we don’t operate on leaks,” he fumed in an interview with NowThisNews. “We operate based on concrete decisions that are made.”

The outburst from the White House comes amid signs the Clinton campaign and Obama administration have already compromised the investigation. The Justice Department official who will be liaison with Congress during the probe into Hillary Clinton’s emails is Peter Kadzik. Kadzik is a political appointee who has worked with the Obama administration in the past, notably leading the effort to help confirm Loretta Lynch.

He also previously represented Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta as a private attorney and was credited by Podesta with having “kept me out of jail.” According to an email released by WikiLeaks, Kadzik gave Podesta a “heads up” about congressional hearings on the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information..

In his recent interview, Klein said, Obama put aside his prior grudge against Hillary Clinton in order to defeat Donald Trump, for whom he has a special hatred.

According to a source in the book:

“Obama first intends to campaign against Donald Trump as if he’s running for a third term. The idea of Trump and a band of barbarians taking over the White House, trampling on his legacy and destroying everything he’s done over the past eight years is abhorrent to him. For that reason, Obama has always been deeply worried about Comey’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. According to “Guilty As Sin,” Obama desperately wanted to “keep things from spiraling out of control” during the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton. Klein claims Obama even ordered Lynch to “do something!”

However, in the eyes of Obama and other Democratic Party leaders, the scandal is clearly “out of control.”

And with the possible corrupt dealings of Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, the troubling associations of Huma Abedin, the continuing investigation of the Clinton Foundation and the possibility Anthony Weiner has turned state’s evidence, the nightmare for Obama and Hillary Clinton could be just beginning.
