TRUMP SUGGESTS 'PROFILING' TO STOP TERRORISM

'We have to start using common sense'

Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican Party nominee for president, said in a widely watched interview on CBS that he’s open to thee idea of profiling Muslims in order to halt the threat of terrorism in America – that he personally hates the idea but it’s one whose time has nonetheless come.

“I think profiling is something that we’re going to have to start thinking about as a country,” he said, on “Face the Nation” with host John Dickerson. “We really have to look at profiling. We have to look at it seriously.”

As Trump pointed, “other countries do it.”

Israel, for instance, has regularly used profiling, particularly at their airports, in order to root out threats from terrorists.

“You look at Israel and you look at others,” Trump said, “and they do it and they do it successfully. And you know, I hate the concept of profiling, but we have to start using common sense.”

He said, too, “it’s not the worst thing to do” and America was just “not using common sense,” Politico reported.

Trump also repeated earlier calls for tightened scrutiny of mosques in America, suggesting a return to such police programs that were once in place in New York City, the Jerusalem Post reported. The mosque surveillance in New York City has been largely shuttered, due to pressure from Muslim and civil rights groups, as well as from left-leaning politicians.

Other countries, meanwhile, keep an eye on mosques for radical rhetoric that could lead to terrorist activities.

“If you go to France right now,” Trump said, “they’re doing it in France. In fact, in some instances, they’re closing down mosques.”

Trump shied from saying Muslims ought to receive additional background checks when seeking to purchase weapons in this country. When Dickerson asked if they should be given “extra scrutiny,” Trump said: “I don’t know about that.”

My comments: America must Profile as does Israel or the Terrorism Blood Shed will continue and expand. Islam and the Koran Demand that Muslims KILL all Infidels. That is Fundamental to Islam.
