Exclusive: Joseph Farah cites 'social engineering of the most perverse kind'

Canada today is not your father’s neighbor to the north.

It’s a living experiment in social engineering of the most perverse kind – and the regime up there is boasting about it.

Before I tell you about how the highest court in Canada last week effectively legalized bestiality, allow me to let you in on a press release I got about the same time from Canada’s ambassador to the U.S.

His name is David MacNaughton, and he was head over heels with excitement about his edict to the embassy staff in Washington to walk in the Capital Pride Parade themed “Make Magic Happen.”

“I thank the Honorable Amarjeet Sohi, Canada’s minister of infrastructure and communities, a tireless advocate for human rights, for leading embassy staff and members of the Canadian community in this year’s capital Pride Parade,” MacNaughton gushed. “We are proud of Canada’s continued support for the human rights of LGBTI individuals.”

They marched under the “pride flag” and lit the embassy’s pillars in pride colors June 4.

The release went on to explain: “Canada is a staunch supporter of human rights for members of the LGBTI community and all Canadians. From the establishment of equal rights in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in 1982 to the enactment of the Civil Marriage Act in 2005, which protects marriage equality under the law, Canada has been a champion for equality and inclusion of the LGBTI community. On May 17, the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, Canada’s Prime Minister, the Right Honorable Justin Trudeau, announced new legislation that adds gender identity as a prohibited ground of discrimination under the Canadian Human Rights Act. On June 1, he raised the Pride flag outside of the Canadian Parliament for the first time to pledge Canada’s commitment to equality for all individuals regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. This summer, Prime Minister Trudeau will be the first sitting Prime Minister to walk in the Toronto and Montreal Pride Parades, as a public show of support for the diversity that makes Canada strong.”

You get the picture. Canada is all in on when it comes to the new immorality.

So, it should not surprise you what the top court in Canada decided the day after this release hit my inbox: Canada is now a refuge, a home sweet home, for practitioners of bestiality.

It seems it’s now only a problem if actual penetration of an animal takes place. We’ll see how long that edict lasts, as ancient moral dominoes fall.

The court found in a 7-1 ruling Thursday that there needs to be penetration involved for an act with an animal to be a criminal offense.

The case before the Supreme Court involved a man who sexually abused his teenage stepdaughters. On multiple occasions he forced them to put peanut butter over their genitals so the family dog would lick it off.

The man was convicted of 14 charges, including two counts of bestiality, and sentenced to 18 years imprisonment. The two bestiality charges have now been overturned.

Parliament will now have to draft new bestiality laws to cover non-penetrative contact, if it so chooses. So don’t count on that.

You can’t make this stuff up – not if you have a vestige of decency and common sense. It defies comprehension. Are these people without a conscience, a soul, a moral compass?

Naturally, the only people complaining about this ruling are animal rights activists – not child welfare advocates.

Camille Labchuk of the group Animal Justice said the government must move quickly to close this “dangerous and disturbing loophole.”

“I think the Supreme Court decision is a wake-up call that the criminal laws protecting animals in this country are severely out of date,” she said.

The lone dissenter on the court, Justice Rosalie Abella, argued that since penetration is physically impossible with many animals, it defies common sense for penetration to be a requirement of the crime.

“Acts with animals that have a sexual purpose are inherently exploitative whether or not penetration occurs,” she wrote.
