OBAMA OUTRAGE: HE WANTS TO TURN MILITARY BASES INTO MIGRANT CAMPS

Have you heard President Obama's latest outrage? He intends to turn U.S. military bases into babysitting stations for hordes of illegal immigrants invading our country. Needless to say, Obama continues to jeopardize our national security at a time when our nation faces serious threats from ISIS and other radical Islamic terrorist groups seeking to kill Americans. Fortunately, a bill now in Congress could put a stop to this madness...if Republicans have the guts to push it, and not play games. That's why I'm counting on your action today to stop this. I'll give you the link in a moment, but first let me explain why this is so important and how we can win. Military bases are no place to house illegal immigrants, especially on bases like Maxwell AFB that engage in sensitive activities such as training, education, and cyber warfare. Instead of focusing on training and preparing our armed forces to defend our country... ...Obama wants to treat our military men and women as public housing servants for illegal immigrants arriving from Central American countries like El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. This is beyond unacceptable. Our military men and women shouldn't face unnecessary and dangerous distractions caused by the fallout of Obama's illegal executive amnesty. The good news is, the U.S. House of Representatives can stop Obama's latest scheme by passing H.R. 4537, the Resist Executive Amnesty on Military Bases Act. This simple, one-page legislation would effectively block Obama from housing illegal immigrants on military bases inside the U.S. Just a few days after Congressman John Carter (R-TX) introduced this bill, 56 members of Congress had already signed on as co-sponsors -- including written endorsements from immigration champions such as Steve King (R-IA). But the truth is, even with this strong start out of the gate, I need your immediate action to send a message that leaders in both houses of Congress can't ignore. That's why I'm counting on you to help pressure your U.S. Representative to support and pass this bill.I've warned you for months about how Obama officials are preparing for another massive wave of illegal immigrants streaming across the U.S.- Mexico border. In the past two months, over 10,500 unaccompanied illegal minors and 12,500 families have poured over our unsecured southern border. That represents TWICE the number we saw right before the mass illegal immigration crisis in 2014 -- a 173% surge compared to the same point two years ago. Remember the leaked photos of thousands of illegal immigrants piled on top of each other in federally-controlled warehouses?   Do you think Obama would try to prevent it -- or even pretend to care -- if our military bases were treated like that? I think you already know the answer to that question. And I'm afraid that's EXACTLY what our military men and women will face without the immediate action of Congress. This wouldn't be the first time Obama took negative action against the U.S. military. In 2014, a whistleblower revealed the Obama administration's plans to designate the U.S. military bases at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, San Antonio, Texas, and Southern California to house swarms of illegal immigrants. But what's worse is the $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill signed into law this year includes more than $1.6 BILLION for resettling the oncoming surge of illegal immigrants. Which means hardworking American taxpayers like you are footing the bill for their housing costs -- including Obama's plan to turn U.S. military bases into babysitting stations. The operational cost to taxpayers to house each illegal immigrant is $223 per bed per day. Tom, I know you agree the men and women training and preparing to defend our country deserve better. That's why my staff and I are circulating this Citizen Co-Sponsorship to all corners of the country. My goal is to gather ONE MILLION signatures urging Congress to pass H.R. 4537, the Resist Executive Amnesty on Military Bases Act -- which effectively prohibits Obama from housing ANY illegal immigrants on ANY military bases inside the U.S.This legislation has received a MAJOR boost of support after immigration champion Congressman Steve King (R-IA) signed on as a co-sponsor.
