Exclusive: Ben Kinchlow sounds off on temples honoring false god in New York, London

Well, the newest wrinkle in our trek to insanity is that to sympathize with, or to show support for, a particular group of people, America and England are going to have full-size, 48-foot temple entrances of the god “Baal” erected in New York’s Times Square and Trafalgar Square in London.

The organization behind this is the Institute of Digital Archaeology, which is a joint venture between Harvard University, the University of Oxford and Dubai’s Museum of the Future.

While ISIS has recently destroyed, among many other sites, the ancient ruins of the Temple of Baal in Syria, I think those behind this latest project to erect reproductions of the arches of Baal’s temple are taking matters a little too far trying to compensate for what they perceive is an egregious disregard for ancient history.

Allow me to recall a point I have stressed a number of times in earlier columns: The Bible is not a religious book. In fact, the Bible condemns “religion” on more than one occasion. There are six references to “religion/religious” in the Bible, and five of them are negative. Conclusion? Even God doesn’t like religion. Why? Because religion is man’s idea of how to please his concept of God.

Ancient religions were all based on the humanistic concepts of what it would take to please their gods. The temple entrance, reproductions of which are presently under construction, was fashioned thousands of years ago to honor the ancient god, Baal. Worship was centered on Baal, “the leader of the gods.” (The Semitic word “Baal” literally means “lord” or “master.”)

Perhaps it is not a coincidence that we are building structures to honor a deity whose worship called for the following activities, which are freely and routinely practiced even today:

1) Child sacrifice: Since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, there have been approximately 58 million abortions in the United States alone.

2) Sexuality immorality: The U.K. provides one of the highest degrees of liberty in the world for its LGBT communities and here in the U.S., sexual activity between consenting adults, same-sex adults and adolescents stands at record levels. According to several reports, births to 72 percent of black women, 66 percent of American Indian or Alaskan native women, 53 percent of Hispanic women, 29 percent of white women, and 17 percent of Asian or Pacific Islander women all occurred outside of marriage.

3) Pantheism (the worship of creation versus the Creator): The biblical concept of Creation is no longer taught in public schools in America, and the U.K. also now bans teaching of creationism in schools. Today, almost throughout Western civilization, evolution is taught as the source of all life.

Per a WND column written by Matt Barber in 2008: “The principal pillars of Baalism (Baal worship) were child sacrifice, sexual immorality (both heterosexual and homosexual) and pantheism (reverence of creation over the Creator)” (i.e., evolution).

And there’s more: “It turns out that the precise day the reproductions of the arch that stood in front of the Temple of Baal are to be erected in Times Square and Trafalgar Square is also the exact day a very important occult festival related to the worship of Baal begins – April 19 – known as the first day of a 13-day period of time known as “the Blood Sacrifice to the Beast.”

That is not the end of the story: “The Institute for Digital Archaeology plans to construct approximately 1,000 such versions of the arch in cities throughout the world.”

Let me get this straight: In America we have court decisions banning most public Christian activities, persecution of Christian business owners, LGBT parades, child sacrifice (abortion), no prayer or teaching of the Bible in schools, no prayer at public events, no public displays of the Ten Commandments, no Christian crosses …

But we can erect symbols of Baal worship in Times Square?!
