THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS

Rejoice in the Lord Always.

I will say it again: Rejoice!

Let your Gentleness be Evident to ALL.

The Lord is Near.

Do not be Anxious about Anything,

But in Everything, by Prayer and Petition,

With Thanksgiving, present your Requests to God.

AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH TRANSCENDS ALL UNDERSTANDING,

Will Guard your hearts and your minds In Christ Jesus.

Finally, Brothers, whatever is Right, whatever is Pure,

What ever is Lovely, what ever is Admirable--

If anything is Excellent or Praiseworthy--

THINK ABOUT SUCH THINGS.

(Philippians 4:48)

In thinking about that which is Right, that which is Pure,

That which is Lovely and Admirable;

That which is Excellent or Praiseworthy,

We are setting our Hearts on that which is from Above,

In Heaven which is our Destination.

And when we can see these things in the Here and Now;

In what God has Created;

Then we understand the Nature of our Great God

And His Intentions toward us.

We understand why He calls us to be Holy as He is Holy [1 Peter 1:16];

To be Perfect as He is Perfect [Matthew 5:48].

We also understand what the Fruit of His Spirit is

In the Here and Now:

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness,

Gentleness, and Self-control.

(Galatians 5:22, 23)

Against such Things there is No Law.

Those who belong to Christ have Crucified the Sinful Nature

With its Passions and Desires.

Since we live by the Spirit,

Let us keep in Step with the Spirit.

(Galatians 5:23, 24)

When we keep our Hearts and Minds Focused

On that which is from God,

Then that which is from the World is POWERLESS.

When we keep in Step with the Spirit,

Then that which is of the World is POWERLESS.

EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE,

Coming down from the Father of Heavenly Lights,

Who does not change like Shifting Shadows.

He chose us to give us Birth

Through the Word of Truth,

That we might be a kind of First fruits

Of ALL He Created.

(James 1:17, 18)

The World cannot Create anything Good or Permanent.

Only that which we have IN CHRIST is Good and Permanent.
