Exclusive: Alex Newman stresses impact of bipartisan 'Obamacore' law on students

It is time for all Americans with children to get serious about home education.

By signing the deceptively titled “Every Student Succeeds Act” (ESSA) into law last month, the Obama administration and the GOP leadership in Congress just gave American families yet another 1,061-page reason to yank their children out of government schools immediately. As if more reasons were really needed.

And at this point, the best answer to the latest federal attack on education is for families to start homeschooling.

The massive ESSA bill, supported in Congress by establishment Republicans and all Democrats, will cement Common Core, also known as “ObamaCore” or “Communist Core,” firmly into place across America.

Despite denials by deceitful GOP lawmakers, who claimed the legislation fights Common Core and reduces the federal bootprint on schools, the White House was gloating on its website about how the unconstitutional legislation actually “affirms” the Obama-backed nationalization of K-12 education.

Before signing the bill, Obama even celebrated the “bipartisan” support for his agenda as a “Christmas miracle.”

The law also purports to mandate ongoing standardized testing across America to make sure all government schools are carrying out Washington’s dangerous and unconstitutional “education” edicts.

Indeed, despite claims of a reduced federal role, the bill even allows the education secretary to “approve” state government’s federally mandated “accountability” systems.

In other words, the Obama administration, and perhaps Hillary Clinton’s after that if Americans do not get busy to stop it, will decide whether your state government is doing enough to impose the progressive agenda dictated from D.C. on your children.

If you doubt it, just examine what Obama’s far-left education secretary, Arne Duncan, told Politico in an interview after the bill was a done deal.

“If you look at the substance of what is there,” he explained, “embedded in the law are the values that we’ve promoted and proposed forever.”

Are the Obama administration’s “progressive” values your values? If not, it is time to wake up.

“The core of our agenda from Day One, that’s all in there – early childhood ['education'], high standards [Common Core],” Duncan continued, letting the proverbial cat out of the bag in front of the world: “For the first time in our nation’s history, that’s the letter of the law.”

Said another way, Obama’s agenda – he defined it, broadly speaking, as “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” – is now officially codified into the federal education statutes governing your local government school, thanks to Republican support.

Keep in mind, too, that this startling confession about the ESSA comes from the extremist Obama bureaucrat who openly brags about using schools to transform your children into “green” citizens, alongside his “global partner” the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

“We must advance the sustainability movement through education,” Duncan also explained in a speech, revealing a great deal about the administration’s views on “education” as a political tool to advance progressive extremism rather than truly educate children.

Quoting Nelson Mandela, Duncan has also publicly referred to education as “the most powerful weapon” to “change the world.” Your kids, then, are being weaponized and brainwashed, and the man overseeing it all is bragging about it in public speeches.

In short, at this point, government schools are a lost cause.

For Christians, conservatives, libertarians, people with common sense – really for anyone who values real education rather than radical progressive and anti-Christian political indoctrination masquerading as schooling – Uncle Sam’s “schools” must be avoided like the plague.

Of course, even before this monstrosity of a bill became “law” (it is flatly unconstitutional, as the Constitution delegates no power over education to the federal government), government-controlled “education” was a disaster designed to dumb down rather than educate. And that is putting it charitably.

True, the Obama administration has made it even worse, imposing Common Core, forcing schools to let boys in the girls’ restrooms, bribing state governments into imposing every sort of progressive lunacy imaginable on impressionable American children.

But as the late godfather of the homeschooling movement, Dr. Sam Blumenfeld, and I show in our book “Crimes of the Educators: How Utopians Are Using Government Schools to Destroy America’s Children,” the problems that led America to this point began more than a century ago.

Going back to the father of modern government education, Rockefeller-funded progressive humanist John Dewey, public schools have been quietly subverted and transformed into factories mass producing little uneducated progressives devoid of critical thinking skills.

In fact, as we show in “Crimes of the Educators,” the education establishment has literally created tens of millions of functional illiterates using government schools – and they did it on purpose – using a method to “teach reading” that was exposed as outlandish quackery more than 150 years ago. It is still in use today, causing documented physical damage to young minds and incalculable havoc to the nation and its people.

If you doubt it, it is only because you have not seen the evidence.

The fruits of it are clear too – just take a look around you, or at the out-of-control extremists in the White House, the Supreme Court and Congress working on “fundamentally transforming” America. Without a century of this accelerating miseducation, they never would have come so close to success.

In the book, we trace the history of this lunacy from Dewey, all the way through the Obama administration. And, we show where this will all be going if Americans do not rise up and put a stop to it.

From here on out, any and all schools connected to government are going to become increasingly Orwellian, meddling in everything from your child’s “mental health” and physical “health” to their “well-being” and even their values.

Even many Catholic schools are accepting Common Core, and any school receiving funding from government must submit to Big Brother Obama’s agenda.

That leaves homeschooling as the last best option for loving parents concerned about the minds and souls of their children.

Fortunately, a gargantuan and growing body of evidence shows that homeschooling is wildly more effective than what the federal government misleadingly refers to as “public education.”

From much better academics and socialization to better college and employment prospects, homeschoolers literally have all of the advantages.

That may sound unfair, but the job of parents is to look out for their own children first. And in this day and age, that means protecting them from the Obama administration and the nationalized government schools it has helped hijack.

In short: Homeschool or die!

My comments: Home School or an Alternate Private School or Condemn you child to the Hell the Culture is Aiming for. So called, "Progressive" is another word for Anti-Christ--Against God and His Word. Unfortunately many Ignorant Republicans are on board with this Abomination.
