CALIFORNIA GUN LAWS ALREADY AMONG TOUGHEST IN U.S.

Despite failure to stop San Bernardino massacre, calls for more restrictions

The call for more gun control came quick on the heels of the mass shooting Wednesday afternoon in San Bernardino, California, at Inland Regional Services, a center for people with developmental disabilities.

Authorities report at least 14 dead and 20 wounded.

But California already has some of the most stringent gun laws in the U.S. Indeed, many restrictions currently touted by candidates calling for firearms restrictions have been in place for decades in the Golden State.

Background checks and waiting periods are required for all gun purchases. Purchasers must first pass a written test to obtain a “Firearm Safety Certificate.” Guns can only be purchased from a dealer authorized by the state, and the weapon type must be registered on California’s Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale.

California registers all gun sales and collects buyers’ fingerprints. All firearms sales, transfers, including private transactions and sales at gun shows, must go through a California licensed firearms dealer. Even when a purchaser passes all the tests, a 10-day wait is required before the firearm can be taken into possession.

When the mass shooters show up, it’s too late to call the police. The need for law-abiding Americans to defend themselves, their families, businesses and churches has never been greater. WND’s Superstore is the place to start.

Assault rifles, short-barreled shotguns, machine guns and destructive devices are all illegal to possess without a special Dangerous Weapons License/Permit that requires applicants to file numerous forms, be fingerprinted, reveal plans for the weapon’s use and pay a fee.

Felons, those classified as mentally disordered sex-offenders or mentally incompetent, have lifetime bans on gun ownership. Likewise, those addicted to drugs are restricted in access to firearms.

Additionally, California restricts the capacity of firearm magazines. Some cities have their own additional restrictions.

My comments: California is a godless State and therefore Defenseless agaisnt Wickedness. God Almighty does not protect the godless. California is a Persecutor of Christians and this Persecution is Against Christ Jesus Himself. Abortion Murder and Homosexuality are Rampant in California. It is a Wicked State experiencing the Fruit of its own Wickedness.
