URGENT: Obama Officials Are Making Terrifying Plans To DESTROY Fox News

While the debate over net neutrality was dominating headlines earlier this year, we were warned that the argument for the plan may contain specious pros that are far outweighed by the cons, which include a potential for government encroachment and control over Internet content similar to television’s “Fairness Doctrine.”

It appears that such a plan for control may be in the works within the Obama administration, according to the claims of one member of the Federal Communications Commission.

FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai, who was among the original whistle-blowers raising concern over the net neutrality regulations slated to take effect in June, recently spoke at the Right Online conference in Washington, D.C., where he said he believed officials were devising a plan to allow them to usurp control over websites based on their political content.

“What you’re seeing now is an impulse not just to regulate the roads over which traffic goes, but the traffic itself,” Pai said according to CNS News.

Pai singled out conservative websites like Fox News and Drudge Report, saying they would be likely targets of these new “free speech” regulators (H/T Western Journalism).

“In my view at least, being a free speech advocate, the First Amendment means not just the cold parchment that is in the Constitution, it’s an ongoing cultural commitment,” Pai said.

“I sense that, among a substantial number of Americans and a disturbing number of regulators here in Washington, that online speech is a dangerous ‘brave new world’ that needs to be regulated,” he added.

The new set of rules reclassify Internet providers as utilities, making them subject to stricter regulations — what liberals do best.

Whether Pai is right or not, we need to fight to maintain our free speech at all costs, despite threats from the left or foreign militants.
