BREAKING: Startling Biblical Prophecy Just Came True in Absolutely Horrifying Way
One would be hard-pressed not to notice the increasing unrest in the Middle East. From dangerous treaties and alliances to hostile takeovers, the media increasingly seems shocked as the world moves further from the concept of peace in the Middle East.
However, even the most thorough reporters and news outlets are missing one important fact. This was all predicted over 2,300 years ago, in one of the oldest, most sacred texts: the Bible.
Throughout the ages, theologians and Christian studies experts have predicted the end times during their lifetime. However, the amount of evidence is increasing in these troubling times that events foretold in the Bible are coming to pass.
Israel is mentioned over 2,500 times in the Bible, meaning a great deal of importance in the modern world. The Bible predicts a violent end to the world, centered in the Middle East around Israel.
Isaiah 17:1-2 states, “See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins. The cities of Aroer will be deserted and left to flocks, which will lie down, with no one to make them afraid.”
The former city Aeror lies 11 miles from the banks of the Arnon River in the region we know today as Jordan. In the passage, the Bible explains that this city will not be destroyed but rather suffer a fate similar where, most likely by voluntary exodus, the city will be abandoned by her people, leaving livestock to roam freely.
We can already see this in the city of Yarmouk. The Islamic State group has overtaken the majority of it and the city is now rampant with beheadings and other violence in a city that was once known as a refuge for displaced Palestinians.
Once a booming city, the population decreased after intense fighting in 2012. Now, as the Islamic State group has taken over, the city is literally burning. Again, this is mentioned in the Bible (H/T Mad World News).
“The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim, and royal power from Damascus; the remnant of Aram will be like the glory of the Israelites, declares the Lord Almighty.” (Isaiah. 17:3)
This verse says plainly that the city will be wiped off the map, but that the victory will be in the hands of Israel.
The chapter continues to predict that even though people will fight, the city will ultimately and most definitely fall.
“Woe to the many nations that rage — they rage like the raging sea! Woe to the peoples who roar — they roar like the roaring of great waters! Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when he rebukes them they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale. In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they are gone! This is the portion of those who loot us, the lot of those who plunder us.” (Isaiah 17:12-14)
It would be wise to heed the warning stated in this ancient text. According to the Bible, Israel will be victorious despite being outnumbered and seemingly powerless, because they have a Protector that the Islamists lack.
