Here’s One Statue in Seattle That No One on the Left Is Talking About Tearing Down...

A protest over removing a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee triggered a riotand death in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.
Self-styled white nationalists, waving Nazi flags and holding torches reminiscent of lynch mobs, held a legal protest to denounce a decision to remove the statue of Gen. Lee. The next day, Antifa protesters clashed with them.
On Monday, a mob of people tore down a Confederate soldier statue in Durham, North Carolina, protesting the symbol of slavery and the Civil War.
Antifa protesters angrily stomped on and kicked the symbol:
But here’s one statue that no one in leftist Antifa groups is clamoring to have taken down:
That’s the statue of Vladimir Lenin, the leftist revolutionary and acolyte of Karl Marx, who led the Bolshevik Revolution, changing the formerly “Holy Russia” into the Soviet Union.
Lenin’s list of horribles includes:
- Led the Red Terror against Russians who disagreed with him, which included thousands of executions
- Led a bloody civil war
- Instituted “separation of church and state” and oversaw the deaths of Orthodox and Catholic priests and laity
- Oversaw his country’s famine and increased poverty.
- Took land from wealthy and gave it to peasants.
- Launched Stalin’s communist career which led to the deaths of millions of impoverished Russians
Communism has led to the deaths of more than 90 million innocents all over the world.
The Seattle Times reports that the 16-foot Lenin statue was brought to the U.S. by a Seattle area man who bought it after the fall of the Soviet Union. It was put in the quirky Fremont area in the early 1990s as a public art piece.
At one point vandals painted one of Lenin’s hands red to make a statement about the blood on the communist’s hands.
In July, someone started a Facebook page calling for its removal:
However, there’s been no call by the far leftists of Antifa to tear down the statue of the communist dictator and murderer.
